Emi and the rest of the cast were great but the rage their characters filled me with is palpable. I could feel my heart rate rise quite a lot toward the end and not for good reasons. How dense can the main character be? I had to look through the YouTube comments while watching just to sate my brain screaming at me to drop the show. Thank god it was only 8 episodes because I doubt I could stand any longer of a series of this plot. Most episodes were one step forward, two steps back in terms of characters learning from their mistakes. I wish Boun had been given a bit more strength but everyone in this show seemed weak to a tiny girl with mental illness. Too much was shoved into the last two episodes and there was definitely more plot than 8 episodes could handle but at the same time it was infuriating to hold on for even that long. Rage bait is the main plot and the loose ties at the end just ensure I wouldn’t want to see a second season.
