The whole Zhong Si Qiao, Xiang Lang and Wen Yi Fan childhood friendship/ love triangle or whatever angle is so awkward and which is not there in the Novel and also not well written and executed in the drama.... The whole Zhong Si Qiao's confession to Xiang Lang in ep 8 is quite weird and came out of nowhere. I mean, when that guy came back to Nanwu from abroad , she tried to set them up or tried him to be her room mate instead of Sang Yan.....She even slept with HoaAn (we don't know what exactly happened, lol) but her having feelings for this childhood friend was never mentioned before....i mean, she should have been shocked to be in someone else's bed half naked when she had feelings for someone else all along.....very sloppy writing i would say..... The whole bracelet angle or she assuming it for her .....like the writer hasn't given much thought to anyone else apart from the leads....If they had just followed the novel then it would have made so much more sense than sloppily put characters together just to increase the episode count.....what a waste
