A kidnapper is known as a kidnapper when he kidnaps someone. Without kidnapping or taking anyone hostage, both Sa Eun and Hee joo ( posed as a kidnapper) talking to each other everyday at 11 pm is so funny. He is answering all her questions, hee joo is crying over the phone (which ML has not noticed) and talking intimately which only husband and wife know about is beyond hilarious. She is roaming around without a care in the world, i don't see her bodyguards either, they were there for only one ep....I know the writer has sold this drama on face value of Yoo Yoen Soek, but this drama is so full of loopholes and nobody is talking about is beyond funny.

Hee joo is too noob and committing way too many mistakes...I mean, the way she speaks over the call....it too obvious and Sa Eon should be able to catch it......the way she was talking and the details were only a couple couple know. Ofcourse and I agree that this is a fictional world....lol...m it's just that, they established him as this smart ass who worked his way up from being an anchor to the spokesperson of the president....this is not some small milestone anybody can achieve.....so , this smart man who could notice and differentiate between a man and a woman from a modulated voice couldn't notice that basic way of talking between two people..... I am still in ep 2 so this is still fresh, he was full rational, and knew exactly what he spoke when hee joo had called using the kidnapper's phone (you can go and check).....He was full rational , until she brought up the confidential marriage stuff. Till then, i think for full 2 mins, he was looking for the caller in the venue...... He is smart enough to make out whether the original caller was a man or a woman even though the voice was modulated so don't underestimate a trained negotiator.
Still in ep 2 but was wondering ......didn't the original kidnapper stammer? He was fumbling in the phone call he made with sa eon, so how didn't Paik Sa Eon suspect when Hee Joo called him through the kidnapper's phone and did not stammer..........
Also, when Hee Joo said he had called towing services , i mean she cannot talk right so how did she give the details on the address and where to send the towing truck........hmmmmmm
I have sincerely skipped all the adult/present day scenes..the highschool scenes and the actors are so good, especially the guy, the young Soek jiwon is a charmer....I want to see these two in a drama....they deserve their own series.....
This drama proved (Once again) that a drama doesn't need romance arch to become a good drama. What it needs is An excellent storytelling, amazing direction and a splendid acting to bring everything together. I thoroughly enjoyed 1st two episodes.

Chinese version is a lot difefrent. This is where my problem was because "Go Ahead" revolved around Li Jian Jian (FL), she was strong since childhood, held out her personality as a teen and even when she was an adult. Here, FL is just another FL from any other rom com.

Once you get romantic feelings for someone, how can you undo it ...let alone go be a brother.....I hope you realize they are totally opposite relationships...we do not marry our brothers and vice versa.... Sun ha and juwon are neighbors....sunha never addressed juwon's dad as his dad as he already has a dad. So I don't find anything odd there
Like so many others, i am one of those who has seen the original C drama and was so curious about its remake, since the time it was announced. I was on the clouds when they said Han Seo Joon i mean Hwang In Yeop is in the lead...lol......I have seen "True Beauty" only for him.....What a charmer, anyway........ROFL.....
When a drama or a movie is a remake then it is inevitable to get compared with the original when the original was a superhit when it had come out..... I saw that drama when it was ongoing and have participated in MDL discussions and stuff because that drama was so detailedly laid and every character had a backstory so no character was a supporting character.....So, let talk about the characters here,
That drama was mainly around Li Jian Jian (FL).... She was a wild child when she was young and a normal adult when she grows up. She was not a striking beauty but a normal individual. When the 3 main characters were in school, it was a normal school life for them. In the Korean one, the writers have shown as if all the girls in the town are behind the two main guys...lol.....I don't know why korean writers make love triangle in everything...be it in middle school or high school or in office or in space.....like everywhere..... Here, the FL's main problem is the harassment faced by her due to the love interest shown towards the guys. I don't know why everyone looks like an idol in korean dramas so it takes away from the authenticity. In the chinese OG, nothing like that happened, it was a normal school life with normal looking people. Both the dramas were Family drama and not rom com so i hope they give more importance to the family dynamics and NOT to the love story. I am afraid koreans will take it fully towards love drag fest. Even Park Dal (FL's friend) in the OG had a story line and how her mother tormented and controlled her life and she had a crush on Kim Sanha's counterpart in chinese.....Here, Park Dal's character looks like a supporting role and she likes Hae Jun.
The OG was like 46 episodes long so the writer took his time in laying out the plot and in depth story for each character but i doubt the korean version will have such a levay to layout characters so it might become shallow. The most hateable character there and for sure here will be SanHa's mom (OG version)...my god!!! whenever she came on screen, i just wanted to kill her...Hating her was such a waste of time, i just wanted her to be gone...........Pull your socks guys for some actual hate. This character is going to check your sanity........
The main problem the OG had was "Incestuous Vibe", mainly with Hae Jun's OG proposes Li Jian Jian. He calls her dad as "dad" since childhood and very brought up like siblings since childhood so him proposing her was super creepy and then going back to being actual siblings when their parents get married was creepy on another level.
In the Korean version, FL in these two episodes has brought this up many times that they are actually siblings even though they are not blood related or not on papers. She herself has told this that its unfair to call not a family if we consider adoptees or step siblings when they don't share blood....so i wanted the writers to keep the purity of this relationship...ofcourse it is a drama and San Ha clearly has feelings for her but she doesn't and her thinking is totally different compared to these guys. So, such a girl who thinks these guys as nothing but her brothers goes on to become couple with one of them is too creepy...... Her foundation and thinking changes is what my problem was with the OG and will be with this one when FL has said this over and again that they all should be under the same family registry and share same last name.

I will say this again.... In America, medical services are expensive but every company provides health benefits/ insurance it is all included in the salary package. Seeing, how she went back to her work after the treatment which shows that she was on a medical leave ....so according to cali laws, she can claim compensation from the government.... insurance benefits is given to all the employees irrespective of immigration status..... Even if it is not Google, all the companies pay for the health insurance. So Americans here work till late in their age because their company would provide health insurance
