Yu Mei Ren 's character is laid out in a confusing manner (atleast for me). I mean she has Ph. D in Ornithology. According to her, her parents think only doctors, engineers , professors jobs are considered respectable. I mean ok, understood. But to get a Ph.D in any field is not a joke. I myself have a Masters degree in Electronics and i know how difficult it is to graduate and get a degree, so i am guessing she is older than me. She has a one more degree higher than mine and its super difficult. Ph.D students literally live in labs. They are so focused on whatever they are doing and it literally takes years for their research to get completed. Unless you like doing it, you cannot actually complete it just because your parents forced you into doing this. What i am trying to say here is - we have seen she is very knowledgeable in her field, she loves birds. I really don't know why she branched into beauty blogging. Ok, she is good at this as well.....noted, she is confident too i mean the way she gives back at her rookie competitor says it all. She carries herself with confidence and knows her shit (In both beauty industry and related to Birds).....But she becomes a totally dumb or carries herself sloppily only infront of ML. People might argue she is doing this on purpose. I mean, one can only act dumb or naive for only certain extent. For ex. When she took the ML up the mountain, she went in shorts with nothing in her bagpack except for beauty items....i mean, common...she claims she knows the mountain well so atleast basic stuff she should have carried like mosquito repellent spray , energy bars or atleast a water bottle. Why she had to depend on ML for everything and make him look like a genius to carry these basic necessity items....It pains to see the writer deliberately making the fL look stupid to make the ML look like a genius. She is all like how he is taking care of her when they were in the mountains, he might have fallen for her...i mean, GIRL!!! you have literally gone empty handed so what do you expect him to do? use the only sleeping bag he has got for himself or the coffee... He is being considerate, how is this falling for her..she is super one track minded..she is always thinking about "if he is cold then he is being inconsiderate towards her, if he is nice to her then he is falling for her...wow!!! how can anybody be so blinded" ..She is only about him him him him...Wasn't your plan to make him fall for you and not the other way.....Arrrghh...Woman wake up......
I don't know why she is so afraid to tell him that she has a doctorate in ornithology...i know , i know she wants to act dumb 1st then make him fall in love with her, then make the big reveal...TA DA....again this doesn't make sense. She had feelings for him to begin with so this plan is useless and not the other way around. To execute the plan she is following around ML like a puppy again it pains to see a woman letting her pride go and following a man like a shadow.....If she doesn't trust in her capabilities and accomplishments then who will (i know she had low self esteem before but now she is an accomplished beauty blogger, this says it all).then you cannot blame ML for not believing in her...Also, isn't she proving ML right...She should stand tall and say she is a beauty with brains ....so SABINA or no, she shouldn't really give a damn....i know its just a drama but Yu MeiRen is a woman i have known from past 1 week so i am going to take her seriously (She is still the same till ep 16....what a shame....ML is reciprocating to her feelings or not is secondary but she is still the same puppy following him around :( )

Atleast for me who have seen her every drama and adored her in all her roles, this change is very evident. She could have reduced weight or have gotten fillers because yeah, no wrinkles...she looks rather plastic now... but her jaw is not lying. It has become 'V'. You can cross verify, when a person looses weight from like 50+ kgs, then they look like totally different people. Not thin people, who loose weight to go to become skinny. They will rather look malnutritioned. What I am trying to say here is, she has combination of all weight loss + fillers + jaw reduction

Anyway, you know what is the strange part that the people who have moved out of village for job or studies not telling their parents about her celebrity status. Think about it, if we know any of our classmate or a person from my hometown is a celebrity then I would 100% boast about this person everywhere and I would have told everyone about it including my parents

This time she had no money due to contract break with Lami, ML's house water leakage problem. So you are saying an entire village hasn't seen merin's ad, we are not just talking about aunties here.... We saw in ep 7 that few of her classmates had stayed back in the village , even her brother or there might be her brother 's friends or other younger generation , if not then other generation who had moved out of the village to the cities and know about her , they could have told about her to their families

If only Jung Hee Joo's granddad had revealed that the last phone call his grand daughter got was from Cheon Na Na then it would have gotten over along time ago like it was supposed to be.
