I don't know if you know this or no but with asian mom's they are like "My daughter is so and so, they even cook up some stories to praise their kids"....they actually praise their children till the children are left with embarrassment. But here Meiren's mom was only praising Prof Zhaung. The more ideal scenario would have been like "What a perfect pair, my daughter and my son-in-law both have Ph.D's and work at the same place. Pair made in heaven. I cannot wait for them to get married and have kids"

You know what amazes me more that how MeiRen's parents not even once mention their daughter's degree or education infront of ML when he stayed at their homestay.

In almost all the dramas be it korean or Chinese, a SML will usually be FL's childhood friend or Schoolmate or Desk-mate or Family Friend or a Senior from her College or her neighbor or a colleague at work. What i am trying to say here is SML will usually be in FL's life for more than ML would have. They know FL more than the MLs and also care for them more than the MLs. So audiences usually develop SML syndrome because FLs usually chooses cold and rude ML over sweet and caring SMLs.
Here , this kid Lv Jian came out of nowhere and is not even remotely close to Merein , and he saw her like 2 mins in the tea plantation and a min twirling infront of the vending machine and fell for her (Make it make sense) . Fl would probably meet such kids on a daily basis for her work so how will either she or us take him seriously or feel bad for him. He started hitting on her the moment he saw her despite the fact that she is his professor's GF. He got to know that they are a fake couple much later on despite that he kept hitting on her infront of her boyfriend (Again, make it make sense writer). The writing is very bad and lazy. Nothing make sense.

Her fans will attack you now. They will find your comment even after a week and reply back. That's what had happened to me last week. In today's episode when the ML pushed her against the wall, i was like her hands are going to break, because it looks like twigs now. Very concerning. She is a public figure and many teenagers look up to her and might follow her footsteps in getting many surgeries and go into extreme dieting. I think its a combination of extreme dieting, fillers and a jaw reduction surgery. She used to look sexy before and now there is nothing left either in her body or face. The process would have been very painful. Sad

The way the editor removing all the nice scenes between our leads, i have no hopes....

This is what i think about our ML, he is a very simple minded genius who has dedicated his life for only thing which is artificially cultivating Artemisia annua in the labs so that the malaria medicines can even reach a rural village in China. So he was never social and he also never looked to date etc.....Meanwhile FL happened and he kinda got softened. So he was never rude or mean. It was all FL's one directional misunderstanding about the ML.
I have seen this in the trailer that he starts writing letters to her (In the trailer he writes saying this is my 97th letter, body of the letter 'I am counting on the days we can finally meet' and ends on a note of I miss you).... considering his limited knowledge about weibo and we chat, he might have thought writing a letter would be a better solution and maybe better express his emotions. I hope they keep this scene....So all in all i have not seen growth in FL's character and they will even brush off her series of lying to ML about her qualification and stuff.....This drama is all over the place

As it is just 1 subbed episode per day so watching every damn thing :(

Also, i feel they have insulted the disabled people...... i mean she has deafness according to her convenience. She had hearing aid when she had bumped into him (That means her deafness is above moderate) initially but later on she is all normal...Now she hears perfectly. Now her hidden dream is to be a weather reporter , i thought she is happy being a grape farmer at her hometown. Here i am with all these useless information about the 2nd couple when our main leads are still struggling..... in a 45 mins episodes, 25 mins are given to the 2nd leads and 15 mins to the lead. I don't know what they have put in 35 episodes, i hope really its not all about the 2nd leads......Arrrrghhhh.....The writing is very bad

I agree but remember how many lies she had told when she had approached him, even now he doesn't know her actual qualification so she is still lying about it and has no intensions of telling him . He was forgiving her gimmicks. If he gets to know as to why she approached him, about her intensionally making him fall for her so obviously he will doubt her intensions.....but he will forgive her because he has no hidden agendas like her

This is what i feel and its just my opinion......She is the one who worked so hard to make him fall for her (initially for her revenge ), She went extra lengths to stalk him, move to the same building as his etc. He had a very fixed goal from the beginning and he is carrying out his late professor's work so it might have been an unavoidable situation where he had to leave the country. I don't know whether he informed her before hand or no (subs for those are not out yet and raw episodes are badly edited leaving out crucial details about the leads, so i am not sure) I believe he is not that irresponsible. So i felt it was very cruel of her to 1st make him fall or her and later make him roam around her.
