does anyone else think that, the ending of ep 40 will only lead to more drama before their will be a happy ending…
Yes... I thought about that too. 12 eps may seem not enough for us viewers that love the drama but if we really think about it... it gives plenty of time to unfold JH and MY's story (which is the main interest now). So they'll have to face a lot before we can see them together, just as you said. On the other side, that's precisely what keeps us so thrilled about this couple, right? Ep 40 was specially intense because of their encounters filled with unspeakable feellings so I imagine now they know how in love they're with each other, there will be lots of moments full of chemistry to be excited about.
A BOTTLE OF WATER.That's what I needed not to get dehydrated from crying after ep 39. And then, ep 40...…
I haven't started TBH yet because I'm really hooked with this and don't feel like watching any other romance yet. But I'll watch it for sure. Plus... if the drama is as good as the OST, it won't dissapoint me :) I fell in love with one of the songs the other day and then couldn't stop hearing every song.

And then, ep 40... It took my breath away, seriously.
So, after being emotionally shaken by this drama, let's get back to normal and bear the agony until next Saturday because this time Thursday's preview won't be near enough to appease my anxiety hahahaha.
They got 2 episodes extention & I'm happy with it, many things still need to be solved & they need…
I hope this gives time for a really good ending. I wouldn't mind watching marriage and even children hahaha. LJ with a baby is beyond adorable : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OHAQV-jzI28
Is this drama good? Rate it from 1-10 please. I'm having second thoughts if I will watch this or nah because…
I agree with Claudia...
1. Until now, I always had to fast forward in long dramas. Not in this case. MFIS is worth it every minute of its 38 eps so far.
2. Cast is a 10.
3. Excellent story.
4. Lee Joon... well, I think he is trully awesome.
And... If you like romance, LJ & SM are a very unique couple. Probably the most chemistry I've ever watched.
So far, this drama is an absolute 10.
Anyone with the link for the preview of episode 37?? I need some action with my fav couple Mi Young and Joong…
Elvirad... You're awesome. I was on Instagram watching the preview over and over again trying to magically learn korean hahaha
This wait is too painful!
it's one thing if JH and even the family know the real deal, but now i'm anxious the secret will be…
MY acknowledging her own feelings, shock and sadness about father's real identity and past, difficulty to forgive, secret out to the public, JH becoming more famous... if we add up everything I'm afraid that we'll have to wait forever until these two can get together. Plus... I hope the writer doesn't come up with the idea to send JH away for a year or two in order to calm things down (We've watched that many times in dramas and is just frustrating). I just want to cry hahahahaha
Can anyone clarify for me the pairing/couple for this drama?
1st son: Byun Joon Yeong married to Kim Yoo Joo
1st daughter: Byun Hye Yeong married to Cha Jung Hwan
2nd daughter: Byun Mi Yeong paired with Ahn Jung Hee (star-crossed lovers because they think they are half siblings, which is not true).
3rd daughter: Byun Ra Yeong paired with Park Cheol Soo (boyfriend).
(I just listed all the pairings. The order isn't based on the relevance of each couple in the story.)
To those who believe that the kiss scene in ep. 30 is unrealistic and forced I thought I'd share this link…
Thanks for the info! I thought that the situation was kind of forced and not so "real" but I didn't mind it really because showing it doesn't mean they are stating it's right. Dramas show a lot of situations that happen in real life that we might disagree with (bosses yelling and humilliating women in the workplace, for instance. I remember Kim So Yeon's character in "Falling for Innocence" being slapped in the face by her boss! I couldn't believe it) but, again, viewers are capable or reasoning ;)
Yeah... it was weird and forced because it was probably more credible to ask any other staff member to do that instead of the manager. But, it's a drama and they needed to create the opportunity. Not that it makes it right, of course.
But I'm also wondering why isn't anybody complaining about the discrimination and alienation Kim Yoo Joo is suffering in her workplace because of her pregnancy. Her boss even told her she would have to leave the company eventually. That situation is depicted as something really normal too.
I also wonder if the fact the drama is hitting the ratings up has anything to do with these complaints... probably not. Just a thought.
Ep 30 JH and MY kiss: First of all, it's not like they are intentionally kissing romantically. It would have…
Ginger, I respect your opinion, of course. Just different ways of interpreting the same thing I suppose.
As I said before:
I didn't see lust at all. I saw tension and nervousness in JH eyes and manners when she approched him. And then, when he kissed her, his eyes were sad and kind of asking for forgiveness.
As for the "fauxcest" thing... well, considering what I wrote above, of course I don't agree either.
Ep 30 JH and MY kiss:
First of all, it's not like they are intentionally kissing romantically. It would have been different if, for example, JH would have kissed MY because he wanted to do it. Instead, the situation was arranged so that they were forced to "kiss" at work in front of the crew and everything.
Also, the kiss was not gross because there was not lust in it. It was not intended to be romantic at all. Actually, JH looks sincerely troubled about this situation precisely because he knows it's wrong to be feeling like this.
I think that the writers wanted to point out that the real problem is they THINK they're siblings but they don't FEEL like it (and I include MY because I guess she's kind of confused too even though she doesn't noticed it yet). And these feelings are making everything so weird and "wrong" because you can not change how you feel so easily!
So, for me, this scene was beautifuly sad. Writers and actors were able to show the intensity of this whole situation that will soon mess with the minds and hearts of so many people (JH, MY and their family).
I love Lee Soo Kyung's character in this drama. I'm just on ep 13 but I hope she keeps like this. She surely represents the struggle of strong professional women who are determined to succeed in such a sexist environment. She makes it clear that being a woman is not synonym of being weak and needing protection from men.
And then, ep 40... It took my breath away, seriously.
