I like it a lot so far. 1. There's trauma but nothing soooo melodramatic that becomes tiring. 2. There's no annoying character (which is surprising because kdramas always have a really insufferable character that almost ruins the story) 3. I'm so into second sister + COO story :)
I'd never understand why some people decide on watching something based on the comments. I mean... Subjectivity! It's like saying you won't try a food because you neighbor didn't like it. Comments are to be read and to discuss once you've already watched it yourself.
Every character is very annoying, MLs family is just awful people, his friend is so selfish, FL ex is abusive,…
Maybe the whole point of the ML not being able to stand up for himself is that he grew up with his entire family making him feel guilty about his parents death... kind of enough to make you feel insecure, not loved and traumatized.
I think the opposite mainly because he's been living with this sadness and trauma almost his entire life so the…
Exactly! It's not about right or wrong (every pov is valid), it's about the interesting and different perspectives. I like the comment section a lot more when people are respectful like you :)

Well, that's my point actually. I love that it's not like other male leads. I'm not a big fan of the cold hearted ml. It's tiring and usually portrayed very exaggerated. Anyway, I understand that we have a different interpretation of his behavior and that's why when you see it doesn't feel like he carries any baggage, I see that his baggage has been with him his whole life and yet he tries not to loose himself entirely because he is a good and nice person who would like to be happy as anyone else.
Idk but I feel the ml could hv expressed the trauma n sadness more passionately. It doesnt feel like he's hurting…
I think the opposite mainly because he's been living with this sadness and trauma almost his entire life so the hurt has transformed into his companion, his way of life. He walks trough life feeling guilty everyday and maybe thinking he's not worthy of love and acceptance. So when he meets FL again, he feels saved in a way and tries to hold on to that feeling because she represents goodness and safety in his darkest hour.
I love that the ML fell for her almost from the start and that he knows exactly what he wants. No doubt, no "drama" in that aspect. He likes her and is doing something about it. That's it.
Why don't you try it first? Who can you trust here? People have different preferences, but if you have a bias…
If you have limited time... I think it'd probably be wiser and faster to watch 30 minutes of the first episode and I'm sure you'll be able to form an opinion yourself. Definitely faster than writing, reading and answering here all of the comments that can not possibly be objective as you want.
1. This one is about the characters, not the story. So with that in mind, they nailed it. Somin and Wooshik have chemistry and, most importantly, they are funny together. It works.
2. People saying this is the same as BTIMFL simply didn't watch that drama.
