I really, really want to like Park Min Young. But there's something about her that is so... bland. I don't know. I know I'm in the minority that doesn't like her but that's stopping me from watching this even though PSJ is totally worth it.
Interesting, witty and thought-provoking drama. Already in love with it. And... I'm seriously starting to think L and Ah Ra should be a couple in real life. It's just amazing how gorgeous they look together! ;)
Give me something interesting so i can start watching after ep 3. it got bored for me after 3rd epi.
Well... It's difficult. I can tell you what I like but it may not work for you. 1) I'm really looking forward to Eun Tae & Yoo Ha's relationship because it started with the wrong foot due to business issues. That makes it interesting for me. Most of the times, love-hate relationships are kind of superficial. This time both characters are far from wanting anything romantic because they have strong and important issues that matter a lot to them. Yet... we know they'll eventually fall for each other and I want to see how writers manage character develpment. 2) The topic vounteer work vs. health as a business is interesting. 3) I like the interaction between Moon Sik and Jae Hyung. I think it may end up being like the story between the poor girl that changes the rich guy but this time with a bromance haha. As I said... this works for me and I'm not bored yet. Also, I suppose this long dramas always start a little bit slow.
Seung Joo's love confession was really touching... simple and direct. It reminded me of the famous Notting Hill's "I'm just a girl standing in front of a boy asking him to love her". The whole scene was really good since I must admit I could feel myself the pain when Jak Doo rejected her. I love this couple. Uee and KKW show their chemistry more and more in every episode.
Are Kim Ji-hoon's character and Lee Kyu-han's (Nam Tae-il) character cousins? It appears that Kim Ji-hoon's mother…
Yes, they are cousins (not blood related though). Nam Tae Il is the son of Nam Soo Hee's brother. But, there's surely something about the past we don't know because she's really cold with her nephew and he's the opposite, always worrying about her and being nice.
"self centered idiot"?! she's been working all her life to support her lazy brother and her mean mother who never…
Well, I'd say it's fair to express it as having "different" expectations... what's "higher" for you may be the bottom for others. Anyway... regarding UE's character, I don't think it's the best female lead ever or the most original either but I just found it weird that you described her as "self-centered" because I think she's actually the opposite. Of course, it's your personal opinion, as you said, and I respect that. It's just my own observation too.
I really can't take the female lead anymore.....when will drama writers understand that a strong independent female…
"self centered idiot"?! she's been working all her life to support her lazy brother and her mean mother who never gave her any love. She has lost her aunt, the only person that really cared about her. And on top of that there's someone who wants to kill her and she doesn't know why...
"something just feels 'off"! Well everyone is entitled to their opinion but may I ask have you…
I agree with you, Mssankacoffee, everyone's entitled to their opinion. But I still can't believe someone would think YKS is not fit for a main role... *facepalm*
23!? She looks so much older! Not saying it as a bad thing. It's just that I was surprised. She's really good considering there are other actresses of her age that are not even close to her in regards to acting.
I LOVE IT! I should've started this earlier. I think I've never laughed so hard with a drama. Joon Ki is freaking hilarious... I'm sure he'll be my favorite till the end.
I learned that if you want to find the love of your life you just need to marry a complete stranger. He will most definitely end up being awesome and you'll fall for him completely. Easier than dating for years.
Great! I found another drama to be excited about. I think I'd like many of the secondary stories and even though we obviously get the necessary evil characters and the whole dramatic side of the story, I still like it better than the type of story told in "My Golden Life", for instance. Plus, I love watching Han Ji Hye again! She's so elegant and beautiful and makes a great couple with Lee Sang Woo. Their characters have well defined personalities and are definitely not looking for love so it'll be interesting to watch how their relationship develops and they fall for each other.
First drama of 2018 that I'm actually excited about. I watched the 4 eps last night and I'm already looking forward to saturday. So far, I wouldn't say this drama is super original but it's refreshing and funny in a clever way. Also, something that really got me from the beginning is the main couple: lots of chemistry between Uee and KKW. And, of course, they are really good at acting (KKW is great and Uee's definitely grown on me :)
Also me: drooling over PSJ in a suit... *facepalm*
