There's this thing about Yoo In Na... She's such a force, a bright light in everything she does. Be it main lead or guest role. Her acting skills are different. You can always "believe" her emotions: sad, happy or whatever. She can play a fine princess or a drunk, sad woman and you'll love her either way. I've always enjoyed her characters the most.
4th ep: LSH carrying Bora after her drunken speech. That's why I choose to watch a drama like this. Yeah, sure. I love some reality in a drama script. Also, I know that those kind of gestures exist in real life too just not that dramatic. BUT I watch my drama for the drama! I want the romantic music, the slow motion, the glitter... because it's nice and entertaining. And to those that claim the srcript is shallow... absolutely not. The characters thoughts and actions are totally based on the reality korean men and women dating are facing right now. The difference is that everything is exagerated because it's (shocking news) a TV drama. So yes, I f***ing love this!
This drama was refreshing. Simple and lovely story. The aspect about owning a home in Seoul is interesting and relatable. And the best of all... the cast was able to sell the comedy.

I really LOVE Ji Hye. Such a talented and beautiful actress! She's able to make you cry a river like nobody else, but she can also pull off funny and lovable characters. If you like her, I'd recommend "Beyond the Clouds"... I fell in love with that drama so much *sigh*

Yeah. It was confusing for me too. I'll try to explain: What we know so far is that when Nam Sook was young, she had an illegitimate child, Sabina, with a married man. She left Sabina living with her father to be treated as a maid by the legal wife. After she left, Nam Sook met Jeong Soo, who already had a child, Dong Joo, and got married. (That's exaclty what she said so we have to suppose he was a widower and so she became Dong Joo's stepmother). She also said they were happy until Jeong Soo died of multiple sclerosis three years later (april 1992). When she became a widower, she went to look for her daugther, Sabina. It was the day of the Golden Garden Festival (august 1992). But when she was driving back to Seoul, she realized she couldn't afford to raise both girls and decided to take Sabina back to her father's. That's when they had the accident. Later, she decided that in order to give Sabina a legal name, she had to abandon Dong Joo and steal her identity for her real daughter. That's how she managed to marry a rich man and move to USA with Sabina.
