That's the beauty of Xanxia dramas! Lol! But they don't really die fully, a part of them remains which is resurrected or they are shown to pass on to an afterlife. Chang Yi actually says in the drama that 'you can't bring the dead back to life'.

No, her voice is normal pitched and she does not look overly feminine as she dresses up as a male for a large part of the drama because she's been brought up like a prince with military knowledge and skills.

The Long Ballad is my favourite. I'm really loving The Blue Whisper too and looking forward to AnLe. But I loved Eternal Love Of Dream so much at the time and watched it every month for a half a year. TMOPB was great too but I didn't finish it.
