Not sure. But the Golden Angel Awards is quite prestigious. It is the only Chinese American cultural event in…
Ok I'll check it out, when I heard about his pairing with Bai Lu I was a little intrigued and wanted to check it out. Can you just watch this without watching the prequel? ( I assume there is two seasons) Who is ZSC and Shiyi?
I googled Xiao Yang. Is he the 41 year old singer/actor? If this a modern drama, and action-packed, visuals may…
There's a picture of him here in MDL. He looks too baby-faced I'm afraid, maybe glasses may add gravity? In the novel the MC's are about the same age. About 29 yrs old; I suppose they don't have to follow the novel exactly. Hang on! Is he playing Deng Yi and not Chen? DY is older and is the 2nd ML!
Yes I read this as well....Is there any romance in this drama? I don't find Xiao Yang cute at all!
No romance at all! There's only her description in the novel which is written from the ML POV. She, the FL is only described and discussed by others but we don't get to 'hop' into her head. She is supposed to be beautiful, tall and arresting in uniform. (she is an army major) Gonna check Xiao Yang out! I am more interested in the 2nd male character Deng Yi and wonder who will play him. There's a handsome boyfriend too who is a high ranking Navy Personnel.

OMG I was going to write that I'm a mango monster! Alphonso variety please! Telepathy? Yeah, but I'm only going to watch Allen with Reba, not seen any of his dramas though I did watch a couple of Bai Lu's. (Have I got the right actors?) After TBW I may watch his other works!
That's unfortunate! As a big fan of the novel I hope I'll love the drama as well. There are plenty of engaging…
Let me first say that your English is very good and it seems you made yourself clear. The novel is short and focussed on Ji Yunhe but she is not the narrator(the translation confuses this distinction) thus even when she is locked up we know about Cheng Yi's progress and we share the frustration with the FL . I would argue that the 3rd Person POV is even more involved than a first person narrative. You 'live' the experiences with the protagonist in some way. And head hopping is confusing for me but also unexciting as it takes the mystery out of the story. I felt attachment to the characters you mentioned because of their actions without seeing or reading from their POV. The author is popular with several adaptations of her books and understands what works so what some readers like may be outside the scope of the novel. Let's hope the drama is adapted brilliantly from the book and meets all our wishes.
The voice actress who dubbed Reba's voice is Qiao Shi Yu. She is totally professional and has done voice acting…
Don't see a problem with it and I've gotten used to it. Incidentally in Hot Girl she has a different voice; a more deeper pitch but I wonder if it's her own or Qiao Shi Yu? I quite like it but it has less inflection in it possibly due to the role she is acting. A bit stern and no-nonsense.
Congratulations to all the winners and entire TLB team! Sooo happy for our 'young' Dilraba and wow, Yilun is a pleasant surprise! Overseas audiences and judges have good taste and the trophy is very eye-catching too.
Gonna check Xiao Yang out! I am more interested in the 2nd male character Deng Yi and wonder who will play him. There's a handsome boyfriend too who is a high ranking Navy Personnel.
You opened a fruit stall? Very interesting discussion going on here.
