I'm just saying it would've been so funny if the male lead opposite to Dilraba was Liu Yu Ning because Zhao Lu…
Dilraba starred with Yang Yang and Zhao LuSi then starred with him too! LOL! It's going to be Gong Jun next I've read somewhere and Ren Jia Lun too! That really is funny!
LOL! Glad to hear it! She's also been in rumoured relationship with Vengo Gao and Zhang Bin Bin and God knows who else! Oh yes! Johnny Huang who purportedly used Reba to deflect attention from domestic violence against his girlfriend which really annoys me and makes me dislike him if its true!
Dilraba is likely to star in Ball Lightening and fans want Yang Yang to co-star; that is also a Sci-Fi.
True! In Ball Lightening I'm not sure if there will be much romance (not read the book) unless they enlarge that aspect in the screenplay and Invader has two male leads so don't know what role Dilraba would have if she were to star in it. Fans of YangDi want them in a costume drama too! Just noticed the tag 'Smart Female Lead'! Reba would be ideal.
I went to Amazon to read the synopsis and reviews of the book. The book is a prequel to Liu Cixin's famous trilogy, the first of which is called The Three Body Problem. Also got the following from a website. Ball Lightning, by award-winning Chinese science fiction author Cixin Liu, is a fast-paced story of what happens when the beauty of scientific inquiry runs up against a push to harness new discoveries with no consideration of their possible consequences.
On his fourteenth birthday, right before his eyes, Chen's parents are incinerated by a blast of ball lightning. Striving to make sense of this bizarre tragedy, he dedicates his life to a single goal: to unlock the secrets of this enigmatic natural phenomenon. His pursuit of ball lightning will take him far from home, across mountain peaks chasing storms and deep into highly classified subterranean laboratories as he slowly unveils a new frontier in particle physics.
Chen's obsession gives purpose to his lonely life, but it can't insulate him from the real world's interest in his discoveries. He will be pitted against scientists, soldiers and governments with motives of their own: a physicist who has no place for moral judgement in his pursuit of knowledge; a beautiful army major obsessed with new ways to wage war; a desperate nation facing certain military defeat.
Dilraba plays the beautiful army major, because it's the main female role. In the Amazon reviews her character is considered interesting, especially her relationship with her General father. This is another very strong female lead who is obsessed and fascinated by weapons she develops to the point of addiction and is lacking in empathy. I wonder what the screenplay will be like? I'd like to see Lin Geng Xin possibly as a lead with Reba in Ball Lightening.
Don't know but I've read this: the FL is brilliant, has faith but is paranoid and will go to any lengths to achieve her goal and has an extreme personality! It's a Sci-Fi , big budget production. Not many films or dramas of this genre, the most recent and notable being 'Shanghai Fortress' and Wandering Earth; the latter by the same author as Ball Lightening. This drama can be seen as a milestone and the start of the transformation for Dilraba as a serious actress. Many fans of the book are worried about Di's abilities but some fans are more concerned about the ML as he is supposed to be a 'tool' man (whatever that means) and consider Yang Yang not suitable; many popular actors don't want to star with Reba? (Really?) If Dilraba is in it then I'm in already!
Rumor yixing pull out and now they looking at yang yang. Omg it true
Wow! Really excited about this drama. Is Yixing the singer and did he also appear with Dilraba in Running Man? Where did you read this? I'd love to get more info.
We either support both or neither! I do not particularly like your comment because it annoys me as a Reba fan…
Wow! I shall have to do some serious googling with the dramas, directors and actors you've mentioned and thank you for your recommendations too although I'm familiar with them, I've not watched them in the dramas you've cited. I feel your frustration! It sounds like you don't need to watch subbed dramas but can understand Chinese?

Ah! I see I did misunderstand; apologies to Aiya Blassm! Thanks for clarifying and yes I agree with all that you say about directors lacking talent and bad scripts, and that Dilraba doesn't get the best roles to showcase her abilities. I wonder how An Le will turn out with so many misgivings about the screenwriter? Dilraba is keen to improve herself at least and is serious about her art. It must be frustrating for her as well. Yes, I agree that the actor's popularity wins over talent and fans go overboard in rating their favourite star in a fit of jealous rivalry! I don't think I can remember watching ANY drama that has blown my mind away on every level, not that I have watched many. (Balzac and The Chinese seamstress and Six Flying Dragons are memorable) I watched many Hong Kong films in the past but I usually watch British dramas and films. However, I am satisfied if I can actually look forward to the next episode and finish the whole thing, so fairly superficial Lol! Which drama exceeded or met your expectations and which has spoiled all others for you?

It's okay. You didn't make the comment with any ulterior intent. I'm just saying that I took the trouble to find out about Simon Gong and found him to be a hard working and humble actor just like Dilraba. I did not know about him beforehand, in addition both are foodies and both are gorgeous to look at. What's not to like?
Not a big fan of Dilireba but I am excited and happy for Gong Jun that he's got to work with a big star like Dilireba.…
We either support both or neither! I do not particularly like your comment because it annoys me as a Reba fan and I could say the reverse and start a fan war! If I misundertood your comment then I am sorry. I like Simon NOW because he is co-starring with Dilraba and they are getting on like a house on fire! I never watched him before but I will NOW, I would never dare say that I'm not a fan of Simon in a comment section dedicated to both actors!
