Yeah! Bibi-Bibi has already explained it to me. Aiya accepted my apologies it seems bcos she said nothing else. I liked GJ even before he appeared with Dil but wasn't a fan of him or his co-star but I never doubted his acting ( there! I've said that now bcos you say it's ok to say you're not a fan). What annoys me is when someone hasn't even watched Dil and makes comments. You watched only TMOPB and she had a minor role in it; how can you judge her in that. She has gained recognition for a lot of her roles since she started and she absolutely owned Li Chang Ge in The Long Ballad. If you read further below in this section you'll see a comment which got quite heated responses. The bottom line is that either they can all act or none of them can and it's just a matter of preference. Also, success or lack of depends on the script, director and a host of other factors.
I agree that we should quietly support our favourite and refrain from making any comments about their co-star; this is what I already said above. I can't wait for AnLe to air and I am so happy that DD, GJ and LYN are all in this drama!
If you worked on the translation of AnLe then thank you, I am reading it now and it makes a lot more sense although I am still struggling a little bit on general grammar. I only have admiration for people who can understand and write in more than one language.

I only watched the video which suggested that no 'top' actor wanted to take the ML but that is just an opinion and I don't know if it is a popular one or not. They will get someone eventually but will we like him? We just have to watch this space!

There's a film and a drama version of Ball Lightening and Reba is for the drama. I think it will be after AnLe perhaps? Very intense and powerful role: FL is an army major in pursuit of WMD with no consideration of the consequences... no romance I think! I will read the novel at some point!
I was all for Chi Dao but I'm distracted with visions of Reba as a commando. LOL! AnLe is like a practice run for the next role! Reba is even down for 'Invader' but don't know if she will be in it. Could 'Strong Smart female' leads be the direction she is going?
Chi Dao would be sweet if the producers can wait and she and Leo agree.

I've read the book a while ago and they would be ideal; Leo is similar to the ML and the FL is quite beautiful and tall. Yes, that's what I thought too if the producers can wait but isn't Reba rumoured for Ball Lightening? This role is THE role which will test her acting chops and begin her transformation into a bona fide actress. (Not my opinion, read it somewhere)

I haven't yet but there's plenty of reviews and synopses to get an idea what the book is about, plus, I have found and posted the book if you are interested!

There was a post about it a month ago when someone was asking us to go on YouKu Weibo to put forward GeSun as choices for Chi Dao as the producers were looking for suggestions. The Bird Eggs were quite keen but the filming dates did not allow for Leo particularly to be available for a November start. I posted a video of Leo and Dilraba in a FMV going back last year. Apparently shippers of the two have made videos going back a couple of years.

The story isn't a romance I think and everyone will compare it to YAMG. It's rare for multiple collabs with the same actors. There will be some exceptions of course and this is only my opinion. What do you think?
In the book both leads are obsessive about their particular fields and don't agree with one another.

It's just a drama, don't worry I'm not discouraged and yes more depth could have been added to Jing Jing's character to make it more obvious how important she is in Yu Tu's life.
