I'm curious to know about the unfavourable feedback too; would you mind sharing? I read nothing that is controversial in the book. There's always mixed comments about any roles she takes, like before The Long Ballad or Legend of An Le! I also want her to take as many different roles as possible too and this is a really interesting role.

You're welcome and it seems that this is the kind of role Reba has wanted to play for a long time; strong and intense but questionable in terms of ethics. She has said this in interviews apparently over the years but has not had the choice to pick such roles by her management company. Google Invader or Mega Dragon and Tiger and you'll see this is a similar role too. Li Xian was considered for Ball Lightening (BL) but according to one Weibo post he was 'pushed out'? We had fun thinking of ML's we would like to see on the BL page.

Yes you are right but I hope she takes on both roles. She is more likely for Ball Lightening (BL) and had her picture there but it was removed with ZYL; I guess they are waiting for confirmation. BL is a different kind of role, I'm reading the book (Ch. 20 so far) no romance in it so far but it may change later on. I think Li Xian is a good choice but I would like Luo YunXi perhaps. There are no physical descriptions of the characters so far except the FL is very beautiful and tall. I'd call the novel a sci-fi thriller maybe?( not good with tags) FL is a very tough cookie and too clinical to put it mildly.

Carry on watching and you may have answers to your question. The next ep (14) is quite important and memorable.

Yes, I cannot pinpoint why I took so long to finish that drama because I love lots of action and fighting and strong girls; but your point could be one of the reasons. Kind of miss Dilraba's blue streak! LOL!

I took a long time watching Hot Girl too but kept at it and eventually finished it. It is very popular because of the title ( if you know what I mean!) and where Dil got a lot of International fans!
