Just finished it and although it isn't terrible (What The Duck 2 anyone) I was very disappointed given all the hype. They look cute but the lack of chemistry between Sarawat/Tine in the last few eps is very obvious and even makes there story, dare I say, a little dull. The writing towards the end is also not great episode 12 is awful, what the hell was that Pam story all about, I became far more interested in the side couples- Man/Type & Frank/Drake and even Green/Dim in the end. It does end happily enough and although I haven't started watching it yet I hope Still 2gether is an improvement.
Very poorly written show and also very slow paced. I thought the characters Pun & Sib were OK at the start but by the end i really didn't care for them, although i have to say Em & Tar were both great and deserved better . A decent BL series also needs a good storyline to please viewers not just a few (awkward) kiss scenes. Watchable but nothing more.
A very good action packed series, all leads including Tur & Mae (Jennie was amazing needs more big roles) were excellent and unlike a couple of other series this year it ended brilliantly, recommended to all.
Very well acted, Yuki was superb but everyone did a great job and the cameo at the end was short but very sweet. My only weakness was it became a bit too over dramatic towards the end, one of 2020s better BL drama's.
Finally after waiting 8 months (because of the comments about the last ep) I watched the entire series in 2 days, that final ep 19+20 killed me. It felt like it came from another show and was completely unnecessary, but the acting was superb- Wayne was amazing, and the 2nd couple had a nice ending. Overall another very good drama from Taiwan defo re-watch but not ever the last ep!
Was on holiday in Thailand and saw 2 eps of this (unsubbed) on GMM25 looked really good, some very strong female characters, hope it gets Eng subs soon.
Very nice series with a good emotional and touching story and some excellent performances, my only issue is the length I think it could've been 8-10 eps instead of 13 as they could have tightened up the stories a bit more in the 2nd half of the season, still a very watchable show.
Brilliantly acted drama with a very modern and topical storyline. The first half of the series is excellent and the last episode is truly outstanding, everyone (even the annoying characters) are all on point, the only downside is in the second half of the series there is a bit too much scheming and the plot starts to wonder a bit. Baifern is a revelation here and hopefully she will be given more great roles like this.
1st ep is more like a travel advert for Samet Island and there's not much story at all, but T & G are so cute together and that final kiss was amazing.
Good drama, a little less serious than the 1st season as it deals more with relationship/family issues, nice finale also but you could see that they were preparing for a 3rd season (very unlikely now however) as none of the couples had a real solid conclusion.
More mature than a lot of other Thai series with more realistic stories (HIV, age-gap relationship, casual sex), however at only 5 eps it was a little limited at what it could achieve and whether the more serious approach is better than the more traditional Thai BL I wasn't sure.
Very nice little Taiwanese BL movie, with some surprisingly intimate scenes, story a little confusing at the start but it settles down and by the end a very enjoyable film.
Great movie until the parents find out, then the melodrama takes over and then the shock finale which I didn't really like, I think the series was better overall.
This worked better in manga than on the screen for me, it's just far too slow with way too many scenes where they're talking to themselves. There are some sweet and cute scenes and the finale is lovely but if you are after a well paced drama this is not for you.
I know some people will hate me for saying this but I wasn't as keen on this series as I was on the previous season (Right Or Wrong & Boundary Crossing).
The couple's were brilliant, A-Fei/Tang Yi had so much chemistry together every time they were together you could feel the tension between them. Shorty/Jack were super cute and in the end really believable as a couple, and the sister/Dao Yi were a great couple and nice to watch. The scene at the grave in the last ep was done very well & quite emotional.
The problem for me was the mob part of the story, it started well but went rapidly downhill and frankly became a little bit boring & confusing. Then there was A-Fei how did he not get killed he was injured so many times & what happened to Interpol they just disappeared from the plot. This for me as a BL was amazing, both couples are excellent together and really cute and if you to watch for that go for it you wont be disappointed, but the other plotlines were overwritten and too confusing for me to really enjoy.
Absolutely brilliant series, Ohm is amazing as Than, he needs to be given far more roles to do he does his very best at all times I really loved him in this show. Singto is also great (as usual) and both make a believable couple very sweet and tender together. I would like to see a 2nd season or another new show with both of them together.
2019 has been a great year in BL land, Theory Of Love, 2 Moons 2, He's Coming To Me and History 3: Trapped here's hoping for more great shows to come.
