you should continue watching imo. the coming up arcs will determine if baek ajin is truly pitiful or not.

remember junseo was manipulated from childhood and driven by the guilt of his parents actions. to the point he even readily took the blame for a murder he didn't commit. that's extreme loyalty and commitment to protect her. he didn't change his stance despite knowing she's a murderer. so what could be his final straw?

that said, junseo isn't the best person either. rest assured he will get his serving of karma for his actions.

gee here I thought only Oh Eunseo is working hard while this little hardworker also has been part of 7 dramas this year!

i mean realistically as well plenty of scandals involving celebrities only comes to light after decades or when they are plenty famous. somehow all the bullying and other scandals are covered up when they debut

that was his way of loving her. he believed he's protecting her by exposing her. hence the tagline "your destruction will be my salvation" applies for both the leads.

there was a psychologist/counsellor present during the shoot as per early reports last year. so hopefully yes.

in a way we could say he was "groomed" to be so by ajin in his formative years, and all the while he was growing up

the police realised he was lying and trying to falsely frame himself to save ajin. there's no law that keeps you in jail for long cuz of a false confession afaik

this is an interesting perspective to me. so far i have only felt pity for ajin, understanding of the circumstances that made her a sociopath; and anger and disgust at the adults who led her there. i think most viewers even consider ep3 a necessary sacrifice to break her shackles, despite feeling bad for mr choi. meaning the show hasn't labelled her as evil (yet). neither have they excused nor written off the actions of the terrible adults around her. the brutal fates they met are just proof of that.

one thing remains true though, her past doesn't excuse her actions. especially when innocent people become victims of them.

he's really good here. this character fits him well

yeah but why have Jaepil be her saviour here as well? what else could have been more beautiful than JH, her closest friend as she says, calling her back ? it was set up wrong, the writer just doesn't get it. it's so frustrating lol.

Honestly the whole Miss Korea set up was pointless. it was set up solely for YR to save JH so that the writer can have their full circle moment. Even then, there really was no reason to have YR participate for miss korea tho EXCEPT maybe the writer was too enamoured by her own brilliant "the bus that left" analogy and desperately wanted to use it somehow to complete her circle!
