the child actress in the last two episodes who acted as Gaeul is so talented. always amazed whenever i see her how a kid so small is and to express pain and sadness so delicately. 🥺
yeah tbh the character choices and arc all feel very disjointed and inconsistent. like we started off with the loss of spark in their relationship, and that was obviously never the main reason for their relationship to fall part, but it was never even brought up or addressed. it somehow went from they has passionate relationship that just lost its steam -> it was all guilt and trauma and gratitude; love too ofcourse but not exactly romantic (?). it's just really hard to understand what they were doing with all this.

even the bts is so fun! the director is very meticulous he's really good at directing comedy. proven again after tastefully yours. the way the director and im siwan throws around ideas and guides seorina as well, what a good team!!

tbh I can't defend Mido there, cuz she kinda forced his hand into dating the SFL. ofcourse ML is an adult who is responsible for his own choices, but I believe his relationship with SFL didn't begin with proper romantic feelings from his side. he asked her for a month of dating - for mido - which is selfish and he/they are using her (with the SFL's consent ofc). all the dates in the beginning were only becuz he wanted to be fair to the SFL, however temporary their relationship is. i believe he fell for her in the process, but his actual feelings remain unconfirmed still.
but ofcourse all these conjectures fall apart because the whole idea of dating for a month for mido to get over the SML and as a way for the ML to hurt her too/ease her guilt doesn't really make much practical sense. but that's their reasoning in the story. Mido refused the arrangement at first too, only for her to insist he has to do it too. it was unwarranted. But it does beg the question why it had to be the SFL for this temporary arrangement- cuz she's the easiest choice? he knows she will readily say yes?or because mido told him SFL likes him? or was he already curious about her? they even have a past connection so that's not completely out of the question.
