yeah definitely. this was probably planned for longer episodes but had to be trimmed down due to the recent 12 episode obsession. but i also didn't wanna watch more of the fake dating show lol. so I'm kinda glad they had limited scenes.
and interestingly enough the third couple was finally brought to the film set today, but not too sure if that breakup's gonna last!

the third couple did get some progress, they went from hooking up to realising they like eachother and the woman realising her approach wasn't working out.
atp they are relegated to a checklist item! But I also get the feeling a whole lot of scenes were cut from their arc, which I'm kinda glad about because idk if i can take the secondhand embarrassment of watching that reel dating show, lol.
They definitely have to, lol. At least to give us all some closure and wrap their arc up. I want to be optimistic and think they are the missing piece that ought to fit somewhere in the puzzle to bring it all together. Not sure I see it, but hoping!

i loved them in their first few scenes. the one night stand 🔥 but there's hardly time allotted to their development and that dating show feels completely separated from whatever movie filming and family drama that is afoot now! 😭
the ML was born out of an affair she had with the ML's dad.. who was already married. She was a popular actress back then, the scandal would have destroyed her career.
The third couple is probably the most useless plot point in the entire show. Their arc, along with the dating show storyline, carries zero relevance to the rest of the plot. Their scenes feel misplaced and come out of nowhere. It's actually a bit sad. 🥲

He is a refreshingly written ML, I agree. He never crossed his boundaries despite the display of jealousy. Atp the entire set might have already gotten the whiff of their relationship tho lol.
Lol, I love that some viewers call the ex annoying while others find him cute/hilarious. Haha, it will be interesting to run a poll to see which side most viewers take!
I really enjoyed the comedy; the ML's expressions were hilarious! Although the scenes were fun, I didn't particularly see the point of the ex. It's not like he progressed the plot or the characters much. I thought he was there for the FL to address the 15-year gap or her first-love situation. But, well, I guess the fact that she is so solid in her response and feelings is progress enough?
I love that our writer is relentless with her melodrama and gives us no respite lol! All hell breaks loose tomorrow!
