like i know every relationship has different dynamics, but when you have been together that long (also counting how they have been friends since childhood) the mumbling scene in the kitchen especially is just unrealistically sweet haha 😭 i find it strange that there isn't much teasing and funny bickering portrayed in their relationship.
hmm, we need a ton of flashbacks after that first ep imo to establish how their relationship actually came to the point of breaking (and pls without all the reasons being the fault of the fl or her insecurities).
No judgements until I watch more episodes, but I wonder if the pilot's framework was the most effective way to set up the plot.
I'm going to have to drop, for many reasons but the top being thw 1 brothers nor having one good word to say about…
right? that doesn't feel realistic at all lol. no matter how much your siblings pull your leg, they won't ever talk behind your back, especially not in such a coercive way to her bf, about breaking up, in her absence. or maybe they knew she was watching idk, and they did set up the proposal venue. 🤷♀️
ep1 living in two separate apartments across eachother? is this already a potential red flag lol in a 10 yrs old relationship? i do see wanting their own space as healthy and normal.
Need help with subs: what was it about when ML said that a guy worth $3bil should not be pushed around by $1.3…
the real estate agent equated his salary to a building's value. For a building to generate 70 million won after rent and taxes, it has to be worth atleast 3 billion.
In short, it was a light bulb moment for him that *he* is worth more than his lottery winnings. As a person and an employee he generates more value than the one time jackpot he has won. It becomes ordinary next to his own worth!
Filming is scheduled from September 2026 – January 2027https://www.filmmakers.co.kr/proCrewRecruiting/32328196
i thought they had started filming this is in the spring. there was some controversy about them blocking the touristy areas during the cherry blossom season, iirc.
I haven't watched it but the first tag is ai generated content, that immediately puts me off and gives everyone…
there's like a 5 second ai generated content in the first ep. and that's it. nothing else noticeable. it's more slice of life, small town cinematography
This ending was satisfactory for me. If you understand the characters and where they are coming from, all their decisions will make perfect sense. See the characters for what they are written as, not as a reflection of yourself or your morals or ideals, and see the story for what it is, instead of how you would have written or changed these characters. The writer has enriched their past stories enough, starting with them being high school best friends, dreaming the same dream, who finally gets together after 15 years, but at the same time, they very realistically portray the aftermath of that reunion. It's not all silk and roses; there is no smooth sailing on this ship. However, if you want something more realistic, including the pain and heartbreak that comes with it, the confusions and insecurities, dedication and forgiveness, but also the (almost un-) realistic deep love that endures for a lifetime—this could be your cup of tea.
Much like the characters tho, the drama itself isn't perfect. But i like when dramas stir conversations and debates about the character decisions, and this one certainly did lol. It was hence entertaining, albeit frustrating at times, all the way through.
They didn’t’ breakup due to lack of love. Both knew that she wanted her space to grow without his help (even…
didn't he say he tried contacting her? but I think the lack of contact make sense here. she was very firm in wanting to gain her independence away from him, and for him to stop worrying about her all the time. he just respected her wish and decision. i know viewers read them differently, but I can't see their relationship and dynamic to be anything but healthy! they know each other the most, and despite their human flaws their love for eachother is very strong.
