And I was finally glad to see the FL take some action to save the movie and help the ML, instead of it always being the other way around.

Title Dream to You Spoiler
Both of them have codependency and abandonment issues, so a healthy separation will only do them good. Maybe they will reach an understanding tomorrow and not really break up, or maybe they will. Either way, Yijae choosing that path on her own is necessary to level the playing field between them for a healthier future relationship. Even if well-intended, the ML has been dragging her and their shared dream around without properly asking whether it's what she really wants. (granted, she never rejected the idea and was genuinely happy working on the movie, which means it was something she wanted too, and the ML knows her well, ofc). But now, her experience on the film set around Soobin and the staff has really helped Yijae put things into perspective, which ultimately led to the decision she made.

Even with the ML, ever since he came back, he has only thought about the FL and restoring her dream, even if that meant erasing his own presence from the movie. Wouldn't it eventually foster resentment if she is his sole dream? Why should he give up everything for her?

I think the issues some of us felt were brushed past or left undiscussed between them culminated in the final scene of Episode 11.

It’s not about long distance though is it? WSB literally is willing to sacrifice everything for JYJ and he just…
beautifully said. one of the kdrama breakups I'm not too angry about. it's also true that she doesn't necessarily need to chose one or the other - her partner or her dream. and she probably wouldn't have to, maybe the preview is fooling us. but some distance, this time by choice and not forced by external factors, would do them both good.

Soo Bin has been like this from the beginning so it's no surprise he reacted this way, it's actually very consistent…
agree with everything you have said!

I don't get why her leaving is even an issue. Long distance relationships are a thing, he is not poor, he can…
maybe it's the preview fooling us and they won't really break up?

Was honestly so pissed at the CEO for taking no accountability for Subin and leaving him with his abusive dad. But thinking about it, it's true that she was a victim too. She was a young starlet forced to give birth to a son resulting from an affair with a married man, one whom she didn't even know was married at the time. At 24, she must have been so young, alone, and afraid. The man refused to get a divorce and even took the child away. Man, all the characters are so pitiful in this drama.

Anyway, now that she is older and has power on her side, she should be taking accountability for her actions, or at least pay retribution for the pain she caused the child she gave birth to. it's only fair🤷‍♀️

I saw a comment saying that her not acknowledging herself as Subin's mother is the right thing to do out of respect and for the sake of the mother who raised him. That's also an interesting point of view!

An Su Hui's sudden change of character comes out of nowhere...
but really tho there hasn't been much of a change in character right? she has always and only sided with Hana, never cared about her son..and that still hasn't changed. atleast in her external behavior. Hana's change is more sudden if you ask me, but ig she finally figured out she has to get on her better side to escape!

so the mother lie again I am pretty sure she knew the father was married and had a affair anyways
I believe she is telling the truth. She is also a victim in this situation.. young, naive, and unprepared to give birth, but was forced to do so.

lmao thinking that since the 4/5th ep! it's a 100% melo lol. i saw an interview where even the actor was calling…
let me link this segment from an interview of the actors that i found. even they are confused lol!

Also, agree, they often categorise romance as melo, but I do think they distinguish between a proper melo and a romcom. I think dramas that are primarily romance but feature heavy emotional themes or family drama usually get tagged as melos there.

Episode 10 was good but tbh I didn’t really like the mother-daughter conversation that much. I mean you didn’t…
but honestly it would have been weird if the CEO suddenly started showing Subin affection. Would have been out of character too.
