this drama proves mutual admiration and respect is the foundation for the best romance. i love the lines in ep3. the best one was from the book byeol was reading:
"The road remembers everything. The times when you fell with a thud. The times when you persistently got back up. Where you started your journey and where you went. What dreams you dreamt, and even the things you didn't plan for."
"The road makes its way back. You will see so many things on your journey, but you will miss the warmth of your home. Once you've seen everything you wanted to see, the road will take you to your place."
getting more serious now at ep5/6. also if lee eun ho becomes the crown prince, can he not marry hong doek su due to the scar on her hand? saw some comment mentioning this on viki
this drama is such a delight!! more people should tune in istg. i was hooked from first ep, but if you are not give it until ep3. the apprentice tests, their friendship and the whole hotel shenanigans in general are super fun to watch!
there's hardly any cheesy scenes, love love how kim jieun has approached the cross dresser role here. refreshing to say the least after the countless cross dressing kdramas we have seen. she is just as natural and chill and fun as the boys; no over pretense to be one.
where do i get a zaddy like our perfect secretary? ๐
also see the chemistry already. can't wait for their story to develop. jieun's interactions with the daughter will be very touching i can feel it. the daughter may help heal her inner child too. i hope she gets a lil less cold a lil too fast, cold leads are kinda tiring to watch for a longer period
Didn't have high hopes because this is kinda an idol drama. But it's not bad. I enjoyed it more than the chinese…
just curious tho, how is it an idol drama? the themes aren't related to music and none of the characters are idols? or do you mean the actress, yeah jung chaeyeon was an idol but she has transitioned to acting career pretty much completely imo
I just finished episode 6 so it might be too early to tell, but I find it very vague what happened to Juwonโs…
he didn't mean madam lied about him being a widower. so basically the show starts with lil juwon saying and repeating "a horaebi (widower) can do anything". neither lil juwon nor her friends know what horaebi really means. her dad asks her who told her this and she asks him if madam lied (that her dad is a horaebi, and horaebis can do anything. can even bring an oppa lol). that's the it's true but not at the same time thing he refers to.
later in the episode madam and juwon's dad has a convo near the steps where her mom is mentioned. she died when juwon was a baby (no cause is explicitly mentioned, but presumably just after child birth) and both juwon and her dad came to haedong from seoul.
just completed ep1. right off it feels different from s1. more idk brighter? s1 felt more gloomy and desperate right off the bat. it does get intense towards the end so that's that. will see.
I'm thinking about to watch this drama, but I'm not sure yet.Can someone please let me know, what this drama is…
it's probably the best kdrama ever imo. perfect mix of timetravel/soul switch, comedy, sageuk, along with well placed and subtle social commentary, stellar cast and acting. essentially a famous chef travels into the body of a joseon era queen, and fun ensues! ;)
i would recommend going in blind, buckle in and enjoy the ride and laughter.
Is JTBC known for literally no promotional channel or what because I am waiting for updates on this and Good Man…
jtbc promotions start 1-2 months before the confirmed airing date. good boy doesn't have a set date yet, hence no promos, although jtbc did drop some stills during Olympics.

and i love the leads sm. their interactions feel natural & unscripted. the drama has an overall calm vibe love it!
