ep10 it's extremely sad how co dependent to the ML eun ho was since the start of their relationship. it's sad but that's one realistic thing. emotional vulnerability and abandonment issues making it hard to detach from a person.

but how is any of that a justifiable enough reason for a toxic relationship? how is co dependency healthy? what's the writer smoking. shouldn't you be letting your character idk HEAL? and stand on her feet? be independent???

ep10 waaa it really does seem like the writer hates her own ML character and wants everybody to hate him too lol.

lmao. think they released the 11th/final ep on OTT already in SK. been seeing knetz screaming about something lol i can't wait to know what happened. atleast SHS & kang hoon are getting good appreciation for this.

that's where it essentially differs from the og in my opinion. this drama is clearly more focused on the romance so they keep enough separation between the future couple so that the general audience aren't weirded out or creeped out by their relationship. they are more close childhood family friends than kids brought up by two dads (sanha's dad is still more or less an absent father) in this version.

that's the wider idea too, that they aren't a real family but a family nevertheless as it's not confined to a single definition.

I'll never stop ranting about the first episode baits of this writer 😭 she did the same with start up. excellent first ep, good to avg past that.

plus i don't think this show is a beaming example of positive vibes either. it's a great show to discuss, it's complex and frustrating. worth the discourse but tiring too and dramas like these often get rated and reviewed low.

what even is the point of hyeyeon's character? hye joo seems wasted here even though she is listed as main. wish she wasn't merely a comedic relief or character for the occasional snippets of wisdom when the sml conveniently needs it.

now it's getting good ahh! today's ep was really good even with the lack of screentime for eunho/hyeri. interesting way to end the episode but I really genuinely hope this is the beginning of the end and healing.

i hope the point of this show isn't just that ML & FL needs to be together. it didn't need that many episodes if that was the sole destination we were travelling towards. sure I want eunho to be happy and I do feel sad for Hyun oh, i understand him even though it's very hard to sympathise. but after all of this if all the drama wanted to do was to show how eunho needs hyunoh to be happy idk man. there are better paths to be taken. but I'll wait and see. oh and my man kang juyeon really needs therapy.

ep9 goddamnn the cinematography? the fireflies scene looked straight out of a disney or ghilbi movie. director really said I'm going all out haha. i keep praising the same thing week after week but it's that good!

huh now that you say it I do feel like i have heard waenyamyeon one too many times lol. it's also the intonation of the word the leads use, it gets stuck in your mind.

ep8 i mean a marriage of convenience - that's not too weird suddenly right lol. it's a real tough drama to comment when ongoing since I feel like i quite constantly miss the bigger picture until it is revealed to me. i have learnt to just take the weird situations presented at face value and go with the flow

huh FL literally says ML's dad is older so he can adopt her dad lol. and that would make the ML her uncle.
about train track scene, the ML explains to her what difference does it make if they are legally bound, and she knows too(as she explains to huiju as well) that being related or same surname or not doesn't make them any less than family. the point of the adoption contract mention and her subsequent understanding in ep2 isn't just about romance, it's about juwon and us as audience understand that judgements or legality - neither of it makes them any less than family. add to this: he said we aren't 'family', and she was upset about him not telling about his alleged gf! 🤦‍♀️

and lmao pls don't project. clearly we have different perspectives. it's clear to me how the dynamics in the drama are like. rewatch it or don't watch it if you don't want to lmao!
and ep2 starting she mentions the bullying, the letter delivery, and how having the same surname could alleviate claims that she is preventing the other girls being setup with the boys cuz she is interested in them! and later about the finance aspect (what if she passes away) at dinner. pay attention lol. no need for "guessing" then. the reason is so blantantly stated can't do a thing if ppl opt to be blind.

the feelings so far are more or less platonic (or she hasn't realised yet) from her side, but you can clearly see the difference in the way she treats both the guys since childhood. she obviously doesn't consider the ml a sibling the way she does haejun. neither were they brought up that way. like she was sulking he had a gf wdym! anyway each to their own.

that was for her to stop the bullying and the neighbour talk, and address what family means in real. you don't need to be siblings or related or legally bound to be a real family. you can be friends, neighbours, strangers but can become a family that's the point. she wanted the dad to adopt the other dad so the names can be same officially lol so the financial benefits falls to all of them as well, and because she thought she needed a legal validation for her unusual family situation. see this was addressed in the first two episodes and was to clearly set the tone. she clearly understands and mentions later in ep2 that she was wrong and they don't need a legal document to be family. and reg romance she clearly doesn't consider the ML the way she considers the SML. they aren't siblings, so there's nothing to ignore. kdrama has tried to remove the incestual vibes the og has. but each to their own. everybody has diff povs.

this is not go ahead they have made a lot of changes already, they don't consider eachother siblings and they don't live together. they don't consider each other's dad their dad unlike in the og. i would say give it a try until ep4 the recent one, since one episode isn't enough to judge. the last two episodes were really emotional and amazing, especially if you are into family dramas. acting is great too. it's a story worth watching for the found family - whether cdrama or kdrama.

none yet, no idea about future but there's an SFL who's most likely going to end up with SML
