oh same, this is me. I wish I don't figure these things out too so I can act as shocked as the characters π I have been reading a lot of posts since the start on twitter and reddit, and someone figured it out the first ep, which is crazy to me. kudos to them cuz I dismissed that theory initially. Ig it's still fun to watch others who were in denial come to terms with the reveal haha.
We all hate Mr Ji and his actions, but admit it, we all cheered when he killed his b*tch mother
omg his mom throwing that glass of water at him shocked me. literally gasped as I didn't expect that extent of abuse. can't even blame the kid for turning out the way he did. he never got the help and care he needed.
i think the eventual appearance of hae-e's biological mother was necessary to finally and truly define what their…
exactly. the story started from her being abandoned. the story has to end with her finding her real family, or realising she has always had them. her trauma from being an abandoned child was an important plot point.
I don't really think bringing Hea Yi biological mother was necessary cause now it feels like the show is dealing…
but i think it's a point that needs to be addressed too. the story started from her being abandoned at her grandmother's shop. also probably a way to make haeyi stand up to her and move on from her original trauma of being an abandoned child. the whys and what nots.

tbh I don't think the point was even to make the mystery unpredictable. the writer imo is more or less using this as a plot device to get the message across about exam pressures, parental issues, stress and resulting mental health problems in students (I'm sure this needn't be stated even). they did leave clues all along for us to figure out mr ji. and tbh many only caught up at the half way point, and that too mostly due to several discussions and analysis here, and that's not too bad.
the assistant better give an explanation for his first attack at the fl's shop , coz that time the ml wasnt bothered…
you might be forgetting the phone thief incident with jaewoo. CCY was constantly complaining and didn't inform Mr Ji about his visits to the banchan shop (in disguise too) until after the metal ball incident, at the police station. from mr ji's pov she was troubling him over it
I hate when there are irrelevant plot holes. I saw one the other day that was utterly senseless (forgot which…
this one is not a plot hole. CCY was, back then, bothered by the whole phone thief incident and altercation at the hospital. Mr Ji saw that, and all his actions are to make those who trouble CCY disappear. He didnt know CCY was there cuz CCY was going to the banchan shop secretly and in disguise, Mr ji didn't know this. if indeed he recognised CCY there, the ball was still aimed at NHS because at that point she was kinda physically strangling him lol. don't think this is a plot hole at all
wow amazing episode. the show in general, but this episode especially, was so well written and directed. and the acting? wow there's not a single weak link there. amazing. the strength of a well made show is to make YOU feel everything the characters do, and oh boy did we go through a rollercoaster today.
Exactly! It is very difficult to show two characters falling in love on the screen, and many shows tend to stumble…
@Elephant28 oh this is one of my favourite comments here. β€οΈ you are absolutely right, age means nothing. it's bizarre to see people focusing on that aspect so much. there really is no rule book where rules change as you age. and some are so adamant that theirs is the only right opinion, it is impossible to make them see differently.
NHS & CCY are the best unmarried (yet), married couple π
also istg I'm mad at whoever thought it was a good idea to promote this as a rom com and name it crash course in romance. well they did catch viewers with that strategy so there's that.

I love how direct NHS is. when she caught mr ji - straight up confrontation. assertive with CCY too. belief in her vision and intuition. no would he, could he. i love her.
I dont see how the detectives can find out about that house yet.
huh? but hui jae doesn't know where Mr Ji lives, or where the metal balls were delivered. he would have went there to investigate earlier if he had known
this show is well crafted. We get to know CCY's past and Suyeon's incident in Ep6. Now in Ep12, history repeats itself. CCY should actually be the first one to catch on to what's going on. he has been there, so he could help both Haeyi & Sunjae this time. he isn't powerless like in the past.
I donβt think there is any more scope left for the teenagers love triangle anymore !
yeah I'm kinda sad. but it would have been jarring if they tried to continue that with the current plot. ig we will prolly now get resolution in the last ep.
also Mr Ji has crossed all lines. there really is no forgiveness or redemption. nope nada. highest punishment and I don't want his sorry crying and repentance. idc
Poor choice of female lead. Made her look like a scruffy piece of rag. It's quite disturbing to see the way they…
ewww. i hope you are not a woman. ew that first line and descriptor says more about you than anything else. honestly read what you have written and self reflect. She is great, her clothes are great, fun and trendy. global audience are loving both her and her styling. she is older than the ml, but looks close to his age. the drama definitely doesn't claim she looks younger to create romance. she is 50 IRL, but she doesn't look that age, HENCE the drama is right that she does look younger than her age. this is a highly rated, globally loved drama. next.
Nothing against the actress or the clothes. Some people don't care about fashion and that's perfectly fine. That…
nope. her clothes are great, her sweaters are fun and trendy. most importantly all of it fits the character and story. you finding it weird is a very subjective opinion. most audience seem to love her clothes.
please somebody remove those genre tags. this definitely aint a comedy or a pure romance. drama thriller, anxiety-spiking melo whatever. all of those fits.
