ml likes fl since teens, and they don't call eachother's father appa so better setup for romance, dal (fl's bestie) still likes haejun after the time skip and not sanha, made sanha's sister less annoying, but mother is unbearable as ever, changed the characters jobs after timeskips, more brotherhood shown between the two mls. but obviously less time spend on childhood and secondary character arcs due to ep number restrictions. and it's a kdrama through and through with all its kdrama schticks.
