yeah I find the cdrama creepier. they were literal siblings there. the kdrama was smart to create the distance, and isn't it obvious juwon likes sanha since childhood. wasn't the girl simply was forced to accept the relationship there in cdrama. heck he even kissed her without her consent yall really wanna talk about creepiness lol.

i agree with you. there's hardly any interaction here. half are negative nancies comparing everything with the cdrama or focusing on the miniscule plot points nobody will otherwise give af about 😭 it's tiring to have any substantial discussion about THIS drama

yoon appa's frame in the middle of the street and juwon's tears, haejun and appa's goodbye sanha crying in his room 😭 the bittersweet feeling of knowing they will comeback but the dynamics will change. god this drama makes me cry every single time

the way i knew what was coming, the separation and time skip but still bawled my eyes at ep9😭

oo you raise an interesting point about sanha. his "I'll handle it i have got it all under control" attitude when he definitely hasn't it under control lol. i know it comes from being the eldest and having had to mature early due to his circumstances, but I'm so looking forward to his realisation. he has protected and taken care of ppl enough, now its the limit and he needs to heal first and take care of himself. juwon knows, she's a grown individual he doesn't need to explain everything to her. there's a definite breakdown coming he looks like he's running in third gear and very tired, it's bound to break.

he's such an interesting character to me cuz there's a definite possibility for a beautiful character growth and healing arc there.

Isn't it normal for kids to move out from their parents house when they become older? and ig the place she lives in is closer to her bakery as well. i personally felt like that was a pretty natural life decision that didn't really need an explanation yk.

also i got the feeling only haejun is renting and sanha moved back to his childhood home with his dad? maybe wrong on this part but we will see. it's a pretty cute and easy kdrama way to get both our couples near eachother in any case😂

also from my perspective i thought the weirdness and awkwardness with the reunions was intended to be so? becuz none of these ppl seems to have met in years and are neither close friends so it would be weird and awkward anyway. and maybe this was a setup for establishing this friend group in the future.

she does know. didn't the mom say the same and the sister didn't disagree with her. she seems to have grown up well and reasonable

also sanha is a character who is as human as it comes. over the years with him mom, it seems like he has lost even the little bit of light he once had when he lived with his family of choice.

there's so much healing and growth that he needs and deserves. all that trauma and taking up responsibilities he wasn't ready for, away from everything that made him happy, now overworking in his professional life - a real breakdown is just around the corner.

the adult era is sooo good even better than my expectations 😭 the transition was good, although we speed run it but the awkwardness after the time skip was well conveyed so i totally bought into their dynamic shift quickly.

kdramas are known for their romances for a reason and I'm loving both our couples here. there's quite a bit of charcter development coming ofcourse, looking forward to it along with how they handle the romance. sanha's deffo getting rejected next episode as he should 😂
