I was shocked by the nudity but I’m not surprised as it’s goes with the era being portrayed. It’s actually a decent show just not for the delulus who only care about cliche dramas. I’d say give it a go.
I actually cried , it’s been a while since a death made me feel that way . He never stood a chance my poor YDZ 😩🫶🏾💜. I agree with BDJ about Wejun once she decided to leave the 1st time she should’ve followed through on it no matter what .
Also how exactly did she conceived a child with the Emperor? I remember a scene where the Emperor asks for some kinda drug to make someone sleep.
I get her emotions and everything but should she really be surprised I mean it doesn’t sound like she really had her brothers back in her past life, even she acknowledges that. Power was important to her I completely understand her emotions but as someone who is always so logical and rational her going to SRQ makes no sense. Also she herself barely blinks at her other brother death so why so upset at LC. It was literally explained that he was also used.

Why do dramas do this, maybe she’s just acting out of hurt but why trust SRQ. He had no issues killing her everyone else involved has no knowledge of past yet he knows everything and is still acting like this and doing all those things.
How can LR be more angry at her brother and SY than SRQ is stupidity. Like girl your brother hasn’t done you a single thing in this lifetime but be a kindhearted person who gets used and treated like crap by his entire family. After all those betrayals I’d snap too everybody heads would roll. She never really had her brothers happiness in her heart and mind n the past and she ready to betray him again in this life after knowing everything. Girl please before you have an open honest combo with your brother about what he wants you’re already scheming to replace him.

It’s honestly not that bad to deserve such a bad rating. I love Wang Anyu and Zhao Lusi so I’m watching for them. It’s not great it’s not bad but it’s only 8 episodes outta 40. ALP is also one of my fave, so I’m happy to see their sons story.
My only irkkk is the OST so far, but fingers crossed.
LYN is doing a good Job here but I can see why people are upset, he tends to lack that ML charisma and acting…
Be for real Zhang Linghe, I have nothing against him but seriously. This is his first leading role, he’s not a trained actor at all and he’s doing a great job. I’m tired of these stuff “good looking actors”.

I could literally wake up each day and rewatch this drama from start and never get bored!! Everyone does such a phenomenal job, the script, pace, maturity 😩, dialogues, growth, love and friendship. Not to mention the laughter and joy, you laugh with them, cry with them and route for them. 🫶🫶🫶🫶

If it continues and ends well (I know I’m preparing myself 😭) I might give this my drama if the year (even the whiny brat plays his part) 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽.
Regardless of its flaws this will still go down as one of my favourite kdrama of all time.
The chemistry between the leads really made up for the frustration we all felt about the story during the ending and whilst I do wish some of the plot had moved on quicker and made sense.
There were times I did wish I could see the old Naksu but I feel like this is a view if what Cho Yeong’s personality without all the child hood heartbreak. Not to mention Ukie went from cute in PT 1 to sexy Jang Uk in PT 2. Not to mention those kisses.
Pt1 had the best story but Pt 2 had the best chemistry I’ve seen on screen in a very long time and atleast a “happy” ending.
The BTS and Instagram posts all the edits and this comment interaction made the whole journey worth it. We were all going crazy for 6 weeks and let’s not even pretend we all screamed on New Years Eve and New Years Day.
I hope it keeps the extra 0.1% because just on the above it deserves it!
