I enjoyed this drama more than I thought I would. I like the gender reversals and how empowering Su Ci is. I also like how supportive Prince Qi is towards her and her endeavors. the way he looks at her omgosh! #goals #couplegoals I have watched Sebrina in that one hockey drama (sorry blanking on the name) and Im happy that her acting has lead me to this actor. He is up and coming and he made a very good performance in this drama. I look forward to his future works.
How refreshing it is to see a drama which doesn't dwell on the misunderstandings and miscommunications between the couple as well as has some true bro goals. Because it's not everyday that you see a king and a possible heir to the throne get along well without any frictions. Likes the king and prince qi are bros for life and its nice and refreshing to see brothers not trying to slice each others throats....
ALSO trigger warning, this drama has quite a few characters who decide to harm themselves to the ultimate result... (sorry I'm trying to say it as kindly as possible). Let's just say the scriptwriter really kicks out the characters right after they are used/exhausted of their worth
This drama looks similar to the kdrama Search:WWW as both feature strong woman characters who each tackle love/relationships differently and find that not all "love" end in "marriage"
I liked the Zheng Qi from Reset Life. She gave off Gong Hyo Jin (k-actress) vibes and wanted to find more works with her. Good thing this drama is subbed for us international fans!
just finished the drama and if they do pull through with the same cast and a second season I wanna watch! I felt that I needed a bit more about what happened in the modern day/present day when they got together and found each other again. excited and hopeful that this will become a reality
I have watched the Cdrama version a while back and watching the kdrama version was a great way to rekindle those feelings from the OG. I dont usually rewatch dramas but Im super happy that I took a chance with this drama. It has a lot of fluffy and cute scenes but I did feel the ending was sorta rushed.... I dont remember if this was the case in the Cdrama... but I felt like we skipped something between ep 22 and ep 23....
Besides that, I think in the middle somewhere during their high school years, the feelings plateau-ed and I was almost dropped it (since I have watched the Cdrama before atm I was just there bc the ML and the FL were cute)... but im glad I pushed thru and I feel like the last 6 episodes really made up for the middle where it became a bit dry.
Overall, its a cute drama, has a cute OST, and the characters were so nice to get to know. Would recommend! And also STAN WEI! I didnt know Kim Yohan was a Kpop idol until episode 22 and then things clicked. I look forward to his music and work!
This drama is super cute and is still in the process of being subbed on YouTube. I find the girl a bit "airhead"-y and innocent and I think its cute how the boy acts around her too. I waiting for the second lead to make an appearance so that he can be the catalyst to their relationship. Really short and sweet drama!
Such a great drama! I'm so glad I started it! Lee Do Hyun is my new fav actor and Hwang In Yeop and Bomin are here too! I felt so many emotions and I love it! I haven't felt this way since Go Back Couple! So good!!
Unfortunately I don't like Yoon Sang Hyun as an actor. Does he appear a lot or is it mostly about the younger…
TBH in my opinion I dont like him as much either, but he appears here and there after the transformation, but it wasn't enough to make me stop watching. I'm so glad I started this drama and I hope Yoon Sang Hyun doesn't deter you from watching it!
I started this drama and after reading some comments it seems like I should stop watching it at around episode 12ish? I dont wanna go through what other viewers who completed the drama ep 1-16 went thru ... LOL Do any viewers have a suggestion on which episode to stop at for a "happier ending"?
I just finished the movie and the acting was insane. Everyone were superb in the roles and I like the teaser to a second movie. However some criticism is that it was a very dark lit movie and that I kinda felt like the plot was neutral... And I had a bunch of questions about Min Jae's character and how he came to be that way. I wanted more depth in the characters. But other than that it wasn't a bad movie, acting was excellent, but I probably wouldn't watch it again tbh...
Update: I'm on episode 9 and it isn't as bad as I thought. there's some comedic touches because of Kido Gao's character and some blossoming romances from the other characters on the side. The plot with the business, corporate spy, revenge for dad's death is also intriguing. I'm kinda waiting for the ML character to grow up and mature a bit. He acts like a child but thats the comic relief especially in a serious business plot.
Any updates on how this drama is plot wise? Is there some good romantic scenes or is it more business oriented plot? I'm here for Kido Gao but im reluctant if he doesnt have a happy ending. All his dramas either dont have a happy ending, he is the second lead, or the drama plot wasn't the best and I couldn't finish it even for him lol
I see people posting actors/stars he resembles. To me, he kinda looks like Jinyoung of Got7... idk just my opinion!
