Yes, it might not be right but the industry is the industry and you want a popular casted ML and FL to boost your own drama despite the female centric-ness. This drama would attract Dylan fans which in numbers is not even debatably but factually a bigger fanbase than Meng Ziyi's. Maybe male-lead IPs don't attract as much attention, or this project pays more. Its not based on ego, just on profit. Billing is not decided by what the drama contains and its plot but just purely how the entertainment industry works and I don't think anything will change that anytime soon. Plus, it should not affect the amount of screentime as fans are complaining about in Reborn of the Rightful saying He Yu might as well be shooting for a guest role according to the amount of times he has appeared on set. This drama can still be female centric despite the billing order.

I actually can't come to terms that I will probably only see this drama in the big '27 or even '28 or even never WHY AM I SO DESPERATE this is the first time i've wanted a drama so bad that i 1. read the novel 2. actually edited the MDL page 3. tracked every release of every trailer/reuter/picture 4. am following along on it's filming process and revisiting the page literally every day in case new info comes out I've only ever waited for a a drama after filming has finished and even then it's a 'oh the cast is interesting lets wait' and not really paying attention until the release date is announced for this? new level of obsession

i thought this would be a 'turn your brain off and relax' comedy show little did i know the angst although it wasn't enough to make me drop tears... 9.5 from me bc I lost interest in some parts and the end in the modern world was SO SHORT chemistry was great but there were less romantic scenes than i expected OST is not amazing but its good Overall YAY but still deciding if 9 or 9.5 hmm
