Ok after watching eps 12 I have three new opinions (one clearly more extensive than the rest 😭) 1. Allat to save Li Lejun yet bro is still being married off...there's really nothing left to do istg 2. I'm starting to dislike Xie Jiayu's attitude towards Xiao Wuyi and her behaviour as a whole. Like why is she just going off doing random things herself thinking that she's doing the right thing but actually just ruining things and going against Xiao Wuyi half the time...like I feel bad for him. He thinks of the whole picture and all the possibilities while Xie Jiayu is just going off trying to save Lejun while not considering what could happen if she fails. I understand her good intentions and all but it's really putting me off; he always has to clear up any mess she's made 3. Li Mao can just disappear now...I can taste his 'psycho SML' vibe from here All in all tho...the drama itself is still going good, this is just me nitpicking Might be the best ongoing drama rn in my opinion

I like this drama overall more too...Fangs of Fortune was not exactly my thing but the OST was great in both. The OST was really good for My Journey to You asw...I have actually developed such high expectations for GJM now, all the dramas he made are so visually perfect, audially perfect, and the characters can all connect with you in terms of emotion.
Oh no I meant it was his first time being involved in both the intro and outro, maybe I worded it weird Yes, he was trained in Bel Canto as well...I never expected that out of him really but it was a nice surprise
Yh, he sings in most of his dramas but I think this might be the first time they were used as outro and intro. My personal favourite is the one he did for Love in the Clouds (naturally) but I love the song he sang as Zhao Yuanzhou's theme song for Fangs of Fortune. His voice is just really nice for me, thats one of the reasons why I like him
The OST of this drama is one of the most extensive I've come across in a long time. I quiver to think how much this whole production costs, but it is GJM's after all Twenty songs, all of them sung by famous credited singers or the actors themselves...Zhou Shen, Sa Dingding, Liu Yuning, they even got TNT's Ma Jiaqi to sing one, Liu Yu, Huangzi Hongfan. It's literally insane...keep in mind like the average number of songs for a cdrama OST is like 5-10, 10 being a lot. And this has twenty, along with two hundred and something BGMs... 10/10 OST collection I must say

They're actually not labubus 😭 they're just another brand of blind box fluffy characters with teeth called wakukus (I know) But I don't think they're officially sponsored (don't take my word for it tho)
