Oh well that's where we differ I guess, I didn't think Overdo was that bad (the editing was questionable but I didn't have a struggle in watching it). And I had and still have huge expectations from The Lament of Autumn because I've been waiting for so long and plus there's Cheng Lei. If an amnesia arc comes then, I wish you an enjoyable watch!

Viewers had huge expectations from Pursuit of Jade, Zhang Linghe was red hot and it aired this year; close to The Lament of Autumn or it wouldn't even be used as a comparison. It was just all in the viewers' opinions I guess

Judging by the way things are going rn I have no idea how the writers are going to make Ye Pingjun fall in love with Changxuan. How on earth is this going to morph from a black flag toxic agreement of a relationship to a pure devoted romance...atp Changxuan is in the game, so how is YPJ ever going to be able to respond to him.
