Hands. Down. The best kdrama ever. I normally binge watch everything on 2x speed as a new avid watcher who only recently signed up to kisskh, when I started watching this? My mind was blown. I reverted it back to normal speed, not wanting it to end so fast. The 12 episodes were not enough to satisfy my need. It was literally AMAZING. I didn't know how a kdrama could hook into me until this one came along. Ahn Hyo-Seop and Kim Se-jeong served in every way. The acting in the beginning, the archaeopteryx lore, you could see that Shin Ha-Ri and Kang Tae-Moo belonged together. From the very first blind date where Ha-ri went in place of Jin Yeong-seo, you could feel the chemistry between the two. The whole hiding her identity as an employee, then hiding him from her parents brought a whole new level of comedy. The acting and expressions were on point. Se-jeong and Hyo-Seop nailed their roles 100%. The drama made even the secondary couple Jin Yeong-seo (Seol In-ah) and Cha Seong-hoon (Kim Min-Kyu) look like they belonged together for life. For anyone who hasn't watched it yet, I'm jealous that I cannot experience the feeling of watching it for the first time again. So whoever reads this, GO WATCH IT NOW. It is 1000% a must watch. I would rate it 11/10 if it was allowed. Samantha and Rachel are waiting for you.

Idk where people are getting their negative reviews from again. This drama is absoloutely fantastic. The chemistry between Yang Yang and Wang Churan is palpable. Everything is literally perfect. The plot, the actors, the ending. Everything. The beginning, where doctor and fireman meet by chance, the moment they recognize each other, again, when suddenly Xu Qin sees Song Yan everywhere, the fact that they still love each other after all this time. Song Yan's reluctance to be with Xu Qin again is understandable as what the Meng family did to him was unforgivable. However, I'm glad Xu Qin finally mustered up the guts to face her family and tell them what she wants. It's not like she was unreasonable in her request or anything, and I'm happy that she finally gets the courage to fight for what she wants and stops harbouring the guilt of 'making her mother sad'. That woman deserves to be sad. The ending is also satisfactory, as all the loose ends are tied up, conflicts resolved, Song Yan and Xu Qin finally get married and get their happy ending. The fact that this drama also has significant focus on the jobs of both real firefighters and doctors in commendable and not only the romance. All the scenes were shot realistically and everything fit together. Overall, this drama is an absolute MUST WATCH for anyone and everyone.

L&P is one of the best dramas I've watched so far. The plotline, the acting, the visuals - everything is top notch. Zhang Jingyi and Chen Feiyu (Arthur) hit the bullseye when playing these roles. You can sense the difference between their school days and after they start working, the maturity Zhu Yun gained and the more withdrawn Li Xun was after his time in prison. The expressions and whole 'vibe' they gave out was amazing. One of the dramas that doesn't get me to finish watching purely for the sake of being able to say I finished watching it. Lighter and Princess is a really symbolic title and I would say outlines their relationship well. We get two sections of relationship development: From the beginning of school, where Li Xun and Zhu Yun fall for each other, and the rekindling of their past relationship after when they are adults despite Zhu Yun's family. Li Xun's opinions I feel like aren't as unfair as some claim they are. He dislikes nepo babies and the rich who make it seem like they are doing everything good while in reality they are doing nothing at all. The addition of Ren Di (Zeng Keni/Jenny) as a friend is a nice touch as well. Overall, it is absolutely a must watch for anyone who hasn't yet.

Loved it. Ding Yuxi and Yu Shuxin (Esther)'s chemistry tops the charts. Ding Yuxi encapsulates Mu Sheng's energy wonderfully, and Yu Shuxin also does really well with Ling Miaomiao. The main lead couple being great, while the secondary lead couple not falling far behind with Mu Yao (Zhu Xudan) and Liu Fuyi (Yang Shize). The whole thing was just amazing. Their travels together, Mu Sheng's love index rising, it finally reaching 100%, his sacrifice for Miaomiao in the end and the realization that he is Fu Zhou in the real world and that he liked Miaomiao since they were kids. There were funny moments and sad moments, and everything was just really good to me. Both couple's development, as well as the acting and the visuals were all top notch. The one little peeve I have is that I strongly dislike open endings. However, for this drama, it wasn't that much of a pain to watch it usually is for some reason. Kudos to the cast and directors. All in all, this is a really good drama, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND to anyone who is reading this. (p.s. ding yuxi is really fit, idk what yall r on about)

I loved it. The plot is basically how Chu Kong and Xiang Yun accidentally get bound together by the ancient red thread, and go through seven love tribulations to ensure Chu Kong's victory in defeating Cang Hai. The twist in the 5th lifetime where they both realize the truth of Cang Hai and the Moluo Clan is really satisfying to watch as well. All seven lifetimes were depicted really well, Ding Yuxi and and Yang Chaoyue did fantastic together. Their relationship was very cute, and the chemistry was good as well. The spontaneous ending of the dead partner reappearing again is a classic in the cdrama industry. It normally annoys me to see them just appear with no clear explanation, but for this drama I took it as a happy positive thing and interpreted it as Chu Kong and Xiang Yun finally being able to be together after so long. All in all, I highly recommend this to anyone who hasn't watched it yet. GO WATCH IT NOW (p.s. i think ding yuxi is really fit, idk where the 'not handsome' allegations came from) (p.p.s they also look quite good together, the visuals from the leads serving) (Ignore my rating for music, unless it's really good I just put a two for everything)

This was my first time watching a show with multiple leads. To my surprise, it didn't disappoint at all. As a little backing story: The Li family: a single mom and her five daughters come to Bianjing to find a suitable husband for her daughters. Then, the story of the Li sisters progresses. At first, I thought Li Kangning (3rd sister) (Lu Yuxiao) and Chai An (Wang Xingyue) were the leads of the drama, but when they got married, and suddenly straight after, Li Shouhua (1st sister) (Liu Xiening) got married to Du Yangxi (Chen Heyi) in place of Kangning, I was confused. When focus started shifting to Shouhua and Yangxi, things came clicking into place. There was going to be a section for each of the sisters. After the initial confusion, the story progressed as expected - the long trials of each of the sisters (except the second sister Li Fuhui (Wu Xuanyi) who is already married to Fan Lianghan (Huang Shengchi) in the beginning of the show began. This next section is going to be directly quoted from another review that I read, the words are not mine (except for the names in brackets):
1st couple – (Shouhua x Du Yangxi) The noble introverts
2nd couple – (Fuihui x Fan Lianghan) The chaotic duo
3rd couple – (Kangning x Chai An) The scheming masterminds
4th couple – (Haode x Shen Huizhao) The cold husband and cutie wife + amnesia plot
5th couple – (Leshan x Yang Xian) Enemies-to-lovers
Brother’s story – Childhood lovers
(1 2 3 4 5 in age order, brother is the twin of Kangning)
The fourth sister Li Haode (Ke Ying) and Shen Huizhao (Liang Yongqi) began with a rocky start, but slowly Huizhao warms up to Haode and they get their happy ending. A lot of stuff happens in between, by the way. Then, the fifth sister Li Leshan (Huangyang Tiantian) and Yang Xian (Winwin) get married by a plot planned by Yang Xian. Leshan was going to be married to someone else, but Yang Xian wanted her as his wife so switched the marriage sedan chairs. In the beginning, Leshan wasn't too pleased to say the least, but by the end of the drama, each couple had a satisfactory ending and even the surprise appearance of a brother suddenly spawned. All in all, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this drama to anyone who hasn't watched it yet. (p.s. the whole main cast is visuals: but i think the most visual couple is either Kangning and Chai An or Shouhua and Yangxi hehe) (p.p.s. i think my favourite couple has to be either one of them too) (Ignore my rating for music, unless it's really good I just put a two for everything)

Honestly this is a really good kdrama. I've seen the conflicting opinions of everyone while judging this drama, especially around Jisoo's acting. Being a member of BLACKPINK, I feel like a lot of the hate about it is uncalled for, like to me, nothing is wrong. She portrays Eun Yeong-ro perfectly, she captures that innoncence and sadness and realization that Yeong-ro experiences. I feel like a lot of the hate was carried over from her musical artist side and has nothing to do withher real level of acting, just another place for netizens to vent their hate about Jisoo. Jisoo and Jung Hae-in fit together well, the chemistry did what needed to be done. everything clicked well in this drama. I'll admit some of the plot is laggy, but all in all, I could see the story evolving. Im Su-ho having to abandon Yeong-ro to go back to the North, his attempts at protecting her from everything dangerous, and the fact that he actually went back for her being so close to escape shows how much he actually loves her. Unfortunately this decision led to his death but Yeong-ro's survival. After, I realize just how much Yeong-ro has been through in the amount of time she's been iwith Su-ho. I read a review saying: "Jisoo was amazing at portraying this hurt and anger beautifully because you can see the innocence in Yeong-ro leave her, that she’s forced to face the consequences of being young and being in love and realising that all really isn’t fair in love and war." This is probably better than I will ever explain it, that it isn't fair, not even a little bit, not even at all. The actors do an amazing job and the story is deeply emotional. As a person who doesn't cry a lot in daily life, I wept at that tragic end of Su-ho dying to protect Yeong-ro. Seeing her revisit the record shop and having her first love end in such a way was heartbreaking. This drama was a real tragedy, but a MUST WATCH. (Ignore my rating for music, unless it's really good I just put a two for everything)

It was really enjoyable for me, nothing really lacking in any aspect. The ending was satisfactory, with Chen Qianqian reuniting with the real life Han Shuo and having both of them encountering the transportation into the ancient world. Zhao Lusi and Ding Yuxi did a really good job, both of them are amazing actors. (All this stuff about Ding Yuxi not being handsome, wdym?? If u watch Love Game in Eastern Fantasy, bro is so fine. And here as well!) Anyways, yeah. Chen Chuchu's jealousy and competitiveness with Qianqian was portrayed really well. It was also hilariously funny in moments, with the fruit comparisons to people and the random conflicts between Qianqian and Han Shuo. There's also no lack of love between Han Shuo and Qianqian, and it's quite fun to watch. Also how their relationship develops and Han Shuo realized he likes Qianqian is captured well too. Honestly it was a really good drama, I highly recommend. (Ignore my rating for music, unless it's really good I just put a two for everything)

I loved this kdrama. How Gu-won slowly warmed up to Do-hee throughout realizing that he loved her, and the little bits of comedy inserted inside. Also, just gonna mention the pure visuals this couple had. Song Kang and Kim Yoo-Jung ate, literally. It's rare to have such a coordinated couple in terms of chemistry, acting and visuals. They both served in every way. A MUST WATCH.

Really sweet. Bai Lu and Wang Hedi (Dylan) have really good chemistry together. All three couples in this show (Zheng Shuyi x Shi Yan, Yu You x Qin Shi Yue and Bi Ruo Shan x Guan Ji) I feel like matched with each other. I read a review saying that if you skip scenes you might not understand the plot, and just to back this up: this is true. I scene-skip quite a lot and like to say that my understanding capabilities are very high with just a few scenes I can picture the whole thing, but in Only For Love, I was quite puzzled because of this. At first, Ididn't understand the relationship Shuyi thought her ex had with Shiyue and Shiyan (the names were also confusing) and the mystery of identities were also complicated, but as you keep going things clear up. Anyways, overall, I recommend this show to anyone who hasn't watched it yet: the relationship development is very thorough. A solid 9/10 from me. (Ignore my rating for music, unless it's really good I just put a two for everything)

mini mini mini spoiler that idk if it even counts as one

I read a section of a review on this that basically sums up the character of Tantai Jin: "THEY MADE HIM UNAPOLOGETIC, not unhinged but still the perfect amount of evil. There's just something believably sinister, unhinged, creepy and scary about him. Tantai jin is soooo creepy!!! I can't explain in but the way that man looks, moves his body, flickering his hands and speaks is soo strangely different, still you cant stop watching him. His face changes from innocently handsome to creepy af handsome in SECONDS according to his mood." This part of the review is spitting facts. Luo Yunxi absolutely served with this role. Also, the chemistry between Yunxi and Bai Lu was off the charts. Every time they were in the same frame, their chemistry is palpable. The backstory of Tantai Jin being born evil was not brushed over: he was born that way, so that was his destiny. The romance between Tantai Jin and Li Susu was fantastic. Trust when I say this: you will not regret watching this. The visuals of the leads are serving, even a secondary couple of Pian Ran (Sun Zhen Ni) and Ye Qing Yu (Geng Yeting/Eddy) was amazing. The one grain of salt however was that absolute b**ch Ye Bing Chang/Mo Nu (Chen Du Ling). Idk why Xiao Lin (Deng Wei) still loved her after all she did. She was pure evil to the core. Anyways, with that aside, I highly recommend :)
