Love O2O is a very light drama. If you've watched it before, you'll know what I mean. The plot is very basic, everything is quite plain. Idk, maybe you like plain, but for me it's a little too bland. The acting is good (Yang Yang and Zheng Shuang) the plot is good, but overall a solid seven from me. If you like just a plain little story that's sweet, go for it. (Ignore my rating for music, unless it's really good I just put a two for everything)

This would be a six without Yang Yang and Dilraba Dilmurat. Idk what people see in this, and for me as one in the minority of people who had watched this and thought it deserved at 6/10, I just think it's bland. Like obviously, Qiao Jingjing and Yu Tu had a really sweet backstory, but it was a little to fluffy and plain to me. The one positive is that the visuals served. Yang Yang and Dilraba have really good chemistry and they're both really good looking. As a sucker for when the leads are equally handsome/pretty, this was a plus for me. However, other than the leads being good-looking, the drama lacks in some other ways. Maybe my standards were being raised to high by the amount of praise this drama was getting from the things I saw, but it was quite underwhelming for me. Maybe this is why opinions differ quite a lot when it comes to different people. The last few episodes were a push to just get the drama over and done with for me, no desire to keep going because of the plot whatsoever. Overall, if you like a fluffy light drama with really fine lead characters, watch it. If you're like me, don't. (Ignore my rating for music, unless it's really good I just put a two for everything)

I watched this some time ago and just decided to write a little review about it: some parts of the plot were a little rushed or confusing to me, and that ending? What both of them died stabbing each other, the classic 'they both died loving each other' and then the reincarnation. Like I'm not that kind of watcher. I enjoy the slightly more grounded ending, not the 'plunge you into sadness then say they somehow reincarnated for some random reason'. The storyline is alright, and the emotions portrayed are alright too. Overall, it's a solid 6.5 for me. (Ignore my rating for music, unless it's really good I just put a two for everything)

Watched this for Zhou Yiran. Honestly, it wasn't absolute trash. The beginning was quite good, I was invested, but as the show went on, it just kind of started flopping. Shen Juan's shooting was a nice touch, and the pairing with him and Lin Yujing was good, but the plot was unsatisfactory. Zhou Yiran and Zhuang Dafei (Sabrina) did a good job as actors and did well with what they had to work with, but the beginning which was packed with potential slowly decreased and ground to a painful halt where the last few episodes were watched purely to finish the drama. Overall, it wasn't the worst, but wasn't the best. (Ignore my rating for music, unless it's really good I just put a two for everything)

really weird

This one was a solid 6. Idk, it wasn't really my thing. It was fine while watching, but after watching it I feel like there was nothing really outstanding about it and wondered why I watched it at all. Now I'm gonna directly quote another review I saw: "What’s even more confusing is the fact I actually finished it, and I did not even have to force myself to watch it. Not many things worked in this show, but somehow I still kept watching the next episodes. Don’t know what weird spell this show put on me, but it worked." This is 100% relatable to me and put my feeling after watching it directly into words. I didn't have to make myself watch it like I do with other not-that-good dramas, but in the end they were the same quality of product. I feel like Baek Su-jeong and Ban Ju-yeon did not fit together at all whatsoever. The maturity of Su-jeong and the immaturity of Ju-yeon did not click whatsoever. Idk what the 'magic' in this drama that keeps you watching but in the end you realize you shouldn't have wanted to keep watching is, but overall: don't recommend. You can watch it if you want and you won't suffer, but in the end you probably won't enjoy it. (Ignore my rating for music, unless it's really good I just put a two for everything)

idk really vague story

Just as a side note: I love skiing. Every winter I go skiing in various resorts, and have never snowboarded in my life. Idk, maybe I'm petty or annoying but the mistranslation of Ski into Love triggered me big time. I understand how it happened, witch chinese not having a direct distinction between skiing and snowboarding, but it still annoyed me for some reason. However moving on from my little peeve, the acting overall was quite good, Yu Shuxin and Lin Yi did good together (no wonder Esther is called the Chemistry Queen), the storyline was alright, the bestie (Zeng Keni/Jenny Zeng) finally gave some good advice, and all in all it was ok. This one was just not my cup of tea though. (Ignore my rating for music, unless it's really good I just put a two for everything)

The worst drama I have ever watched

Probably and extremely unpopular opinion judging from the 8.4 rating overall, but. I hated it. I was excited to watch it in the beginning, it having been recommended to me, but I guess this is an example of when opinions differ. In the beginning, it was ok, but when reaching around episode 18? Something happened, idk what, but my desire to keep watching just literally hit the brakes and stopped. I only finished watching for the sake of finishing it. It was literal torture, pushing through those last few episodes on 2x speed hoping to hurry the process up. There is no plot. Literally. Fei Xing and Lin Yi did well as the actors, but it was just not it. Idk what people see in this. It was like medieval torture watching the whole thing. Situ Mo and Gu Weiyi had an alright relationship in the beginning, and I don't know what went wrong after that though. My interest just dried out. Just a plain no from me. (Ignore my rating for music, unless it's really good I just put a two for everything)

Ok ngl this was a lot better than I expected it to be. My first thoughts: The romance between Li Jianjian (Tan Songyun) and Ling Xiao (Song Weilong) was a little disappointing, I was expecting it to be more centered on them and not having the time being split across everyone's family issues. So going on to the families: 1, Jianjian, Ling Xiao and He Ziqiu's (Zhang Xincheng) "dads" Li Haichao (Tu Songyan) and Ling Heping (Zhang Xilin) are both100% green flag dads, extreme support. 2, Tang Can (He Ruixian)'s parents: dad is too weak, mom is a controlling hypocrite. 3, Qi Mingyue (Sun Yi)'s parents - dad is ok, but he should've taken more responsibility as a father and not push his wife's anger onto Mingyue. Her mom? Disgusting woman, when Mingyue finally stood up to her the pure amount of satisfaction I felt was palpable. Finally. Got a reality check. Ur not the commander of the universe my guy. There are other ppl who don't give a fck what you want so stop pressurizing ur own child. 4, He Ziqiu's parents, fisrst the mom He Mei (Yuan Ran) is ok. I get why she left and at least she wasnt being such a hypocrite like almost all the mothers were in this show. Then the dad, Zhao Huaguang (Liu Jinlong) is lowkey a bad character. He was purely unreasonable and did not deserve the forgiveness. And at last then, moving on to the elephant in the room: Ling Xiao's mom. That hypocritical despicable mdfker (pardon me) but literally. I knew she was suffering from mental illness or something but tf is my guy thinking. You literally tortured your son on purpose, gaslighted so much that you literally made your own mistakes crash onto your child's shoulders, thinking you could manipulate your physical weakness to lie to your child to stay just because you can't let him go, brainwashing your other innocent child (Xiao Chengzi), literally cutting up his family pictures and acting like the definition of ungrateful. That rat should be happy Ling Xiao came to take care of her for so long and even moved for her. She should be grateful for the help he gave and acknowledge the mental stress she has been inflicting on him the whole time. She knew he had anxiety and depression and insomnia all because of her being such a rat and yet just tortured him further. No regard for his feelings, everything you do is right. If she had real mental problems and I was Ling Xiao she would've been in an asylum long ago. Idc if ur my mom. If someone did that to me I would not even wait for her to unalive herself I might actually do it myself (pardon x2). Her suicide was so deserved. That revival was not deserved. (pardon x3) ANYWAYS, putting that aside, I'm happy they all got a good ending, a tad disappointed with the lack of Ling Xiao and Jianjian's romance, I feel like some parents didn't deserve forgiveness (not just Chen Ting (Yang Tongshu)) but overall Go Ahead is a really great drama. You should watch it. (p.s. after watching this I realized Song Weilong is so fine)

very different from other cdramas

ok wtf someone actually kill me now help!!?!!?! just finished watching guardians of the dafeng and am absolutely shooketh. If you maybe have read any of my other reviews, you should know that I despise open endings/cliffhangers. Despise. So WTF WAS THAT ENDING?? NO SEASON 2 IN SIGHT, NO CLARIFICATION OF WHATS TO COME, EVERYONE FORGOT HIM, EVIL SMOKY DUDE WAS HIS DAD, POOR PRINCESS LIN AN, HELP ME ACTUALLY WTF. Ok, back to a more calm mindset, this was fantastic. Many episodes were so hilarious, haven't watched a cdrama that could make me laugh out loud ever (except for Exclusive Fairytale) so that was refreshing. Everything was amazing, the Guardians, the plot, the cast, the actors did really well in portraying their characters. If you know me you should know an ending is extremely important in a drama to me, and this ending was not it. Nobody remembered him. He was wiped from history. His story with Lin An (Tian Xiwei) is not concluded, his family, his role in the Guardians, his role in the Realm Sect, his role everywhere. There is no more Xu Qi An (Wang Hedi/Dylan) in the world. Then it leaves us on a gigantic cliffhanger. REALLY NOW. THIS IS THE BEST YOU COULD GIVE. Am literally pleading for a season 2 just like I am for My Journey to You but knowing cdramas this plea is probably going to go unnoticed. I have yet to watch a cdrama with more than one season, albeit some colossal open endings and cliffhangers. YOU BROUGHT US THIS FAR AND JUST DROPPED US ON THE EDGE OF A CLIFF LITERALLY. ANYWAYS, apart from that ending, everything is great. I really recommend watching, it's very good and it gives you a nice laugh. 100% great (EXCEPT FOR THAT STUPID ENDING) but if you are ok with that you should go watch it immediately right this moment.

ok wow. that was intense af. looking back at it, the main reason i watched it was bc of bai lu my queen (istg none of her dramas are bad bad) but the whole main cast is familiar to me e.g. Wang Xingyue and Liu Xiening from Perfect Match. at the beginning, i felt like the relationship between Jiang Xuening (Bai Lu) and Xie Wei (Zhang Linghe) was literally never going to start, and when it did, it was giving very very large red flag ahh toxic relationship. But ig when they both gave in it was nice to see the peace between the all the characters and especially Yan Lin (Zhou Jun Wei) not becoming a villan out of jealousy. Also, the fact that not everyone except for one died in the end was a nice touch when it comes to ancient chinese dramas, quite a shock overcame me when I realized that not everyone in the main cast was corpseified. The ending was very satisfying to me, no exclusive deaths, no cliffhangers, no mysterious reincarnation, just a happy ending with all the ends wrapped up. I was so into it I forgot it was just a reflection of the "real world" lmao. Anyways, a solid 9/10 from me. Bai Lu is amazing. (p.s. through this drama i realized Zhang Linghe really has a sharp ahh jawline, never noticed that before) (p.p.s papa xie wei is a menace to that son of his. ahhhh jealousy....)

this review reveals the ending (ish) of my journey to you so if you are watching that stay away

Ok after seeing some other reviews I seem to be in the minority who gave this show a 9.5 where the others I'm seeing average a seven. Oops I guess? Idk why they didn't like it, but for me it was great. After seeing Liu Xueyi in Kill Me Love Me and am planning to watch Blossom after, including Meng Ziyi, I thought why not? Plus, this was recommended to me by someone. I usually stay away from shows rated below an 8 on MDL, having faced too many disappointments (cough cough Everyone Loves Me, Ski into Love) but this was a real shock to me. I loved the relationship between Shen Zaiye and Jiang Taohua, and how well both of them clicked. The only thing I was worried about was the ending. Everything was going all well until episode 34 where I realized that rat of an empress wasn't dead and started worrying about the ending. I hate those mysterious ahh "open endings" aka humungous cliffhangers, e.g. the male lead is in despair as the FL sees her twin along with a faceless black clothed figure and gives no explanation whatsoever and ends the show with no season 2 in sight (yes i'm still mad, cough cough My Journey to You) but luckily it was solid. However, when bro appeared next to her at the end: was that a vision or reality bc help tf? But at least my bro didn't die and mysteriously reappear in the last 5 secs of the last episode like I've seen so many do. At least there's a possibility they got their happy ending. Really good, I recommend. (p.s. do you not think Gao Han and Bian Cheng literally look like twins. They literally are true dopplegangers, if you told me they were real twins I would believe you)

love it sm

Ahhhhh Zhao Lusi and Yangyang did so well tgt. The acting, the plot, everything was so on point. The steady romance of Hei Fengxi and Bai Fengxi hooked me from the beginning, along with both of them having hidden identities as royalty. This was one of my firt classical cdramas, so in the beginning I was confused how they got away with it until I realized they had no Google or internet or anything and could just pass looking like anyone. It took a while to get used to this, but the fact that both the leads had amazing martial arts skills was a plus for me. Most of the time it's the male who possesses these abilities, and having both of them being the top of the spectrum was really refreshing to me. The only little section that triggered me was the ending with Hei Fengxi having only 10 years left to live was a little forced. Idk, I just feel like it wasn't really necessary. But overall I would DEFINITELY recommend to anyone who hasn't watched it yet, it's amazing.

i was literally so triggered by that

I AM SO PISSED RN!!! I just finished watching My Journey to You. I died at that ending. I wanted to unalive myself. WTF WAS THAT OPEN AHH ENDING?? I HATE OPEN CLIFFHANGER ENDINGS WITH NO SEASON 2 IN SIGHT. WHAT THE HAIL. WHO WAS THAT FREAKY MASKED PERSON AND THE DUDE IN HER TWINS HOUSE?? AND WHY DID THEY NOT GET THEIR HAPPY ENDING??? Gong Ziyu (Zhang Linghe) was miserable in the end. TF??? This drama. Is. A. Menace. I am so mad. WHAT IN THE BLEEP WAS THAT ENDING?!?!?!? Ok calming myself down. Let's put the ending aside. The story was top notch. The details in the plot, the humungous plot twists, the detailed ahh plans, everything was performed in a way that actually made logical sense which I love. The story was amazing. The main couple of Ziyu and Yun Weishan (Yu Shuxin/Esther) was amazing. All the other couples were amazing. Just wanna highlight Gong Shangjue (Cheng Lei/Ryan) and Shangguan Qian (Lu Yuxiao)'s relationship. It was honestly so toxic and full of red flags, but somehow lowkey I ship bro. Idk what she said about the pregnancy was real, but they ended up separated when they really actually did like each other. I was disappointed with their ending though but I can accept that. THE ONLY BAD THING THAT LOWERED THIS SCORE FROM A 9.5 TO A 9 WAS THAT MANKY AHH ENDING LIKE IDK IF IT BOTHERS YOU AND YOU MIGHT BE OK W IT BUT I AM NOT OKAY AT ALL. I need a calm peaceful "word" with the director. In private. (p.s. if you like using the 5 sec button to skip like me, you might not understand the whole thing fully. I had to go back sometimes to fully get the meaning.) (Ignore my rating for music, unless it's really good I just put a two for everything)

Hands down the best cdrama I've ever watched. It's the definition of a comfort show and although there are some parts that can be considered 'cringe' it's overall amazing, the acting, the plotline, the ending, everything is amazing. Su Zaizai and Zhang Lurang feel like they belong together for life, even the secondary couple Jiang Jia and Gu Ran are perfect together. Zhang Miaoyi and Zhou Yiran have such amazing chemistry, the whole cast fit together so well. Jiang Zhinan and Bian Tianyang are even together in real life (ahhhhhh excitingggg) and even the poor single Guan Fang (Zhe Guo) doesn't even feel out of place at all. Seeing Zaizai and Rangrang's relationship develop from a shy school crush to marriage, it feels like it's meant to be. I don't even need to say anything anymore. For anyone who hasn't watched it yet, it's guaranteed a MUST WATCH! Just do it. Trust. (p.s. to anyone who is still doubting my sincerity: this is the only drama I've ever watched that I have rated a 10/10 in every aspect and one of three dramas that I have watched I have rated a 10/10 overall so far.

Falling into Your Smile is one of the rare dramas where I feel like it deserves a 10/10. Everything about it is enjoyable. From the whole e-sports industry, Tong Yao's stamp collecting, the team member's reactions to the couple and Lu Sicheng's amazing power of aiming objects at Lu Yue's head and the side romance between Ai Jia and Chen Jinyang was all fantastic. Just watch it. If you are put off by the video gaming, you can skip the parts with the animated characters or the extensive gaming, it won't harm the overall feeling at all. Just watch it.
