So logically I understand why the ring is on Porsche’s finger. It makes a great step up season 2 (even though he exhibits no true leadership qualities).
However my instinctive visceral gut reaction is to ripe that ring off his finger and put it where it belongs.

From the perspective of a person that didn’t read the novel. I didn’t see it necessarily as concern or caring for Pete the person but fear of losing Pete the body. The only person with him in insulation. If Pete dies, then he’s alone which seems to be a triggering thing for him.
I know and it sucks. Nut with Tarn is so sweet and innocent, less guarded, easier to smile. He seems so small next to Tarn, and even his though his home life is not happy he’s seems hopeful. It just shows concretely how much abuse (physical and verbal) can erode a persons natural personality until all they have is anger that they unleash on everyone. Nut with Tofu is like angry tsunami with giant walls and no light. I love how patient Tofu is with Nut. His smiles are hard to come by so whenever Tofu makes him smile or he’s happy, it makes it even more special.
I feel like this production company learned from why r u that as long you give the audience overtly manufactured sexy times and tons of fan service, you don’t need a good plot that is coherent or character development to make it successful. As long it keeps trending on twitter, they don’t need to fix any of the holes in the story.
How does show a make me fall in love with two couples that have completely different energy but equally good chemistry?? Where the only way for them to be together is for the other not to exist?? Unless cloning is possible in this universe 🤨. I never, ever ever fall for the second lead but I want Tharn to get his happy ending but Tofu must be protected at all costs. Ahhh this sucks writers.
I swear all of these females only use 1 brain cell among them and chose San San’s whom is the ruiner of all relationships and giver of the worse advice. Why are they listening to her? Is she married? No. Been in a long term relationship ? No. Currently in a healthy loving relationship with good communication? No. Is a serial dater who breaks up all the time? Yes. Yells and treats him boyfriend like crap? Yes. So let’s listen to her for good relationship advice? 🤦🏽♀️
The best friend is really ruining this show for me. I don’t get why c-drama writers find it necessary to put characters like her in these dramas. She’s so damn annoying, immature, and illogical. Stop interfering in other people relationships and deal with your own toxic one.
Couldn’t they have at least put a moustache or beard on her to make me believe this whole world believes she’s a man? Unless everyone is blind, she looks verrrry feminine in the face. Doesn’t help that none of the male characters look more on soft side either. They r very masculine, compared to this very petite “man” 😔 sigh. Takes me out of the drama.

I kept trying to watch it because of the glowing reviews and I hate not finishing things but I couldn’t do it. I even skimmed the later episodes to see if the FL made a huge change in character that I empathize with her but I couldn’t do it. Like one of my biggest issues in c-dramas is when they portray females as these useless lazy characters that don’t anything to improve themselves while males are portrayed as diligent in training. I mean so what if you don’t have innate ability? at least try but she’s running around doing nothing to help herself she just recused all time which left a negative taste in my mouth. Didn’t help that I didn’t like that she made fun of his stammer either, like writers how is this a joke to make her seem bold/fun ? People in real life have stammers.

I mean I see you crying but I see no tears and feel no pain cause you still sound whiny and immature. I also never bought into her as this big powerful warrior either so all aspects of character was lost on me.
I did like ML though and would have continued to watch but like you said he did too much for her and I feel like she does Nothing to deserve him or warrant his devotion. Even as she’s trying to get him back there’s a air of entitlement to her and not enough remorse. But that’s my opinion and it goes against what most people like so in the end it’s just personal taste.
The writing for this show is as deep as a mud puddle. It goes from dumb crisis to dumb crisis then finishes off each contrivance with awkwardly filmed sex scenes hoping to appease anyone that wants depth to the characters there watching. How much bad crying scenes must an audience endure?
So far in the first 4 episodes they brought out all the cdrama cliches: - Elders that are useless and dumb ✔️ - A FL playing a 16 year when she is in her 20’s so she acts like a emotional retarded 5 year old ✔️ - Drama logic that makes no sense. She doesn’t feel emotions but expresses anger, fear, sympathy, joy (smiles all the time) cause god forbid we don’t have stereotypical warm cute dumb FL. ✔️ - Cold ML who actually doesn’t understand emotions, even though he has 6 senses.✔️ - FL doesn’t actually try to better herself instead luck and plot armour gives everything she needs✔️. Not good at cultivating? Don’t keep diligently practicing cause the pretty men will all protect you 🤦🏽♀️. No sense s? don’t worry you’ll gain them back using no merit of your own.
Whoever did the sound editing needs a slap and then to never work again. Why is the background music/noise so loud? Voices of actors are drowned out 🤦🏽♀️ What’s the point of the music if I can’t hear what they r saying?

It legit makes my eye twitch cause the character is not shy at all about showing affection or chasing the guy she wants but as soon as there lips touch it’s like some one is holding her hostage and she has to hold her breath + stand as still as possible to gain freedom 🤦🏽♀️.
I like the actress most of the time, but Jesus why does she have to do kissing scenes like this? Second drama I’ve watched of her mannequin like kissing scenes and the ruins the shows for me. Probably never watch a show of her again.
