Finally got around to finish episode 11 and 12, because I wasn't ready to say goodbye to my guncles... It was a perfect wrap up to season 2, and we got to see their growth as a couple but also individually and for me, that was more than enough. The part about gay marriage not yet being legal, had me thinking about all the queer people who are legally strangers with their significant other, and I cried so much :'(
Even if we don't get another season, S2 was a blessing and 'What Did You Eat Yesterday?' will always have a special part in my heart.
It's cute. I feel like some scenes were too robotic and the actors didn't use enough micro expressions and there was a little overreacting moments but all in all kinda heartwarming. Also no one is homophobic at all?? It's very fairytale kbl lol. good watch :)
1. When Kouki suddenly turned his head to the van, he saw Angel sitting on that van. 2. At the scene where Angel…
Oh my goodness that's beautiful! I thought the angel broke the 4th wall and was talking to me and I was SO confused lol. This makes a lot more sense haha
I also watched it in one sitting. I have no idea why I put it off watching it when it first came on Viki, it is…
Same! I have no idea why I stopped watching but so glad I picked it back up on ep3. It didn't make me bawl or anything like y.n.e.h. but there were definitely moments where I shed a tear or two. Loved all the comforting moments and the justice!
ryunosuke pissed me off:) why blame Kazume? he didn't know anything and even if he would ask, he wouldn't get…
I took it more of as him trying to "test" Kazuma to see if he was worthy of Ren? Before giving him the last info about how Ren wasn't able to share intimacy with other people, I think that's when Ryunosuke decided that Kazuma could be trusted with Ren's heart. But I totally agree, he was definitely pushing boundaries.
WHY did I wait a freaking decade to see the director's cut? this is literally the closure I needed. If ya'll haven't seen this version, I'm begging on my knees... go watch it!

It's to be released in May 2024, if they reach their $ goal.
