I will say that before the date was revealed the show seemingly removed the lgbtq+ tag on Netflix (in the US) but I just checked and it’s back so it’s at least queer in some form
That being said though I don’t think that this will have a happy ending, especially given the directors previous work more than words because that show was literally allergic to happiness for its characters
Finding out that Farm and Van aren’t a couple in the novel is insane because that means the writers just chose to do this plot for the fun of it and it’s a bit ridiculous. Excited for surf and javas future projects though as I think they have a lot of potential outside this nonsense
I'm gonna be honest when I found out that the show is 8 episodes I was kind of shocked because I feel like the pace of the story thus far doesn't really fit it being halfway already
I really don't see this being a bromance show with everything that's been said about thus far so if anyone is really panicking about that I don't think you need to
I think this show is doing much better than other gmmtv ensemble shows in terms of actually giving the various pairings decent plot and screen time, I think that the fast relationship progression is allowing us to get to know the characters much more than we’re usually able to do in other series where they don’t get together for a while
Just watched the 10 episodes and based on the rating I was expecting worse but this drama really isn't that bad
Though I will say I'm happy I binged those 10 episodes one after the other because Idk how I would have felt having to wait week after week for how little the run time seems to be per episode... kinda sad I'll now have to experience that with these last two
It’s so odd to me how little seemed to happen some episodes despite them all being like 50 minutes long… I’m not even someone who was familiar with the manhwa before watching this but like this was way too slow of a slow burn for me. The actors all did a great job with that they were given but I mean it clearly wasn’t much
It's so weird to me because I feel like I've seen every one of these actors act really well in other shows but its just really not clicking for me in this series. I guess it probably has something to do with the writing but I'm not sure. I don't think that this show is meant to be taken too seriously though so I'll just try and not think about it
