Let me be frank. I'd not watch this show if not for JoongDunk. I feel the balance between romance and suspense is totally off. For 8 episodes the case has barely showed any progress. The police says they wanna save the kids but they never try🙃. They always show up after someone dies. Okay you don't have permission to protect them atleast ask an informant to tail them or something. The worst part is an inspector's brother is involved and he got no idea about his brother meeting his friends or not coming home for a night. Soo many people died in a short time span this case should on top priority but they're taking their own sweet time. The kids are dumb for not informing the police about the dare letters when all their friends are dead. Any normal person would know they're gonna die too so better get help. Also champ why tf is he scared? He can just hire gaurds and protect himself idk the avengers gang seems dumb the police doesn't care... I'd prefer if they had a better balance like dramas like "laws of attraction" or "goddess bless u from death". gmmtv just sucks with suspense i guess cz it was the same with melodies of secrets but that was slightly better than this

Agreed. This is a totally different genre and people who don't like this genre shouldn't watch it. Yes they needed more episodes to add more depth to the characters

Doesn't look like it's that easy. Toh is the kind who falls hard to the point he can become blind but once he's over he's over. That's what Fah said it today's episode. That Toh may look nice but he is not that kind. The promo shows he didn't accept Jimmy's proposal to get back together

Fah is officially my favorite character. Brother his sexy and smart. He knew exactly what he had to say to get Jimmy🤭 but sir does have some ahem special taste. 1st the trip now in the house. Well Teh is fine with it so ahem ahem.

I really liked freeze. I just hope Toh being Toh doesn't lead on him and then dump him for jimmy instead give a clear rejection 🙃.

But i really dont get Teh 1st he's like stay away from Toh then he's like i ship FreezeToh n now he's helping Jim🙃🙃 bro decide on 1 thing ur supposed to be a greenflag brother. Overall still enjoying whatever is wrong with this show😅. I hope to see more of Jim suffering before their happy ending

All our boys suffered😭 damn it. I was thinking the grandma killed thunphob and pleng's mom and Tharn's dad were good people but damn. How the hell can she replace her son? And with TT the kid her own son thought as a brother using hypnosis ugh. Worse even cause the death of her son's lover🙃🙃🙃 n bro tharn's dad i get it u wanted ur son to have a good life but how could u do that to him??? Even thankun's step-parents, adopted him for his marrow?? I hate all the parents. Thankfully the brother's loved each other to the point where they could trade their life for each other.

Now that we're close to the end i think the story is good but the direction and screenwriting was the problem. Like why the hell did they start the series with Tharn's nightmare🙃🙃 it was like totally offtrack. That nightmare was about his fear of losing khun. Instead if they started with the warehouse scene and left it at that people wouldn't be soo confused watching the series. Also i still feel they didnt handle the thankhun reveal properly

Yep the 1st 2 episodes have a few unnecessary scenes that make u feel like that. Then the next few episodes are kinda questionable then the plot twist just makes it better😅

It's a good story. But the direction and screenwriting is kinda messed up so you'll have quite some wtf moments

Is thai law like different. Usually after like 2 kills they ask the potential victims if they need police protection and give it to them.

I feel the show needed a bit more of crime solving but its stuck with romance and the avengers gang backstory.

Also i am like wondering they could probably trace where that truth or dare card was printed cz that's not something u can do with an ordinary printer that way they could catch the criminal. Ik the group is not ready to reveal their secrets they could ask other students in the college etc

Exactly what i said but longer. Overhyped from my POV cz many fans recommended this one and i dont think it lived up to the hype they gave me. I watched 8 episodes before i decided to comment because i didn't want to judge too soon. This comment is just a headsup to people who have similar taste as me cz none of the comments highlight that sotus is not just romance but a slice of life drama. They just end it by calling it a slow burn. 2gether can be considered slowburn but this one is pure slice of life with a tint of romance. Thanks for the spoiler tag.

Not that i hate it. I just don't like it nor do i love it probably cz i was expecting a bit more cz everyone kept recommending this one to me. I kinda feel you can watch it for educational purpose like origin of BL or something. Also i didn't say it was pro-bullying but instead it was leaning towards that. Things considered extreme when it comes to bullying back in 2016 and now in 2026 are totally different. The definition of bullying has changed in past 10 years that's the reason i used the term leaning.

I just feel even Arthit and KongPhob didn't have much screen time together in the drama as main CP because the drama was more into SOTUS. That's the reason i told main couple runs in the background. Ik other couples get less time than the main couple n that's fine i just wanted to write another POV cz all the comments just keep praising it so that people who have similar taste as myself can skip this.

Ngl I'm a bit upset with the people who recommended this one to me. They should hv told me it was a slice of life instead of a romance BL🙃 and none of the comments mentioned that either or I'd have skipped this. Thats the reason i dropped this comment to alert other watchers what they're gonna get. Now that I've started this I'm gonna force myself to finish it but i don't think I'll watch season 2. This is just not my type of drama

A honest comment from someone who is watching this for the 1st time in 2025. This drama didn't age well. Back in 2016 probably it was good but rn it's not. The drama is leaning more towards pro-bullying. They justify bullying with tradition, respect and team building. The series is more about engineering life than a BL or romance drama. The entire drama revolves around SOTUS activities with the lead's romance running in the background.

You can forget about the other couples cz their story goes behind the lead's. You can just watch it for educational purpose like this is where thai BL started and what SOTUS was like. Frankly not a great drama in 2025. It's just overhyped.

Edit: i understand how much you guys love SOTUS but this comment is a headsup to people who have similar taste as myself not for the ones who absolutely love it cz you're into this kind of dramas😄. People who like romance as the main element in their dramas like me. The other comments don't highlight that romance is not the main element of this drama hence I'm doing it. Totally agree. I love KristSingto but in 2025 this drama is definitely not that great. Im fine with bully to lovers but i would appreciate an redemption arc too also i was expecting anti-hazing too but it was more pro hazing. I don't understand the drama or the people rating it a 10 in 2025

Are you blind? I think they had pretty good chemistry just right at every point. They started at hating so obviously they won't go all in🙃 Not everything has to be too explicit.

Jimmy liked Toh from ep 1. It was always Toh cz he is very kind, caring, nice and obviously cute. But he overlooked that cz he was obsessed with sleeping with the campus's hottest man Fah

He's a batista. He graduated before Fah and is now opening a cafe. I assume he's a year older than Fah. Who's probably in year 3 or 4. Teh and Jim are in year 1. All this mess happens in less than a year so hes still opening the cafe. At the beginning of the drama Toh had just graduated

Wait if "Love in the air" is a shared universe with this cz smart's character is the brother of type's love rival's boyfriend. How is this shared universe with TharnType??? Wtf 2 bossnoeul in the same universe???
