Is the ML ever-annoying? I want to watch this drama and my friend told me she hated the ML. She said he was really…
I'm loving this drama; I never found the ML to be annoying. He's honestly gorgeous and cleaver while she's beautiful and strong. Take any historical drama but reverse their gender and it's exactly the same. The ML seems to be made more feminine and the FL more masculine, they honestly match each other.
Maybe your friend doesn't like the reversed concept, feminine man and masculine woman but for me it's killing 2 birds with one stone. 1. Because I've been dying to find something 'new', interesting and less repetitive 2. Because I like BL and this messed up with my brain in the most wonderful ways
If I had to find an issue with this drama right now, for me it would be the lack of clothing. I'm very fashion orientated when it comes to dramas, I just like seeing beautiful different clothes every scene but the clothing choices in this drama are repetitive (just on ep 16 so might change (?)).
Overall, I hope you watch it because it has a great plot, cinematography, actors and more :)
Actually...I really don't understand why Tharn wants to marry Type. A piece of paper really isn't that important. Why go through all these fights when you have your man and the relationship is going well.
So wait, does Song Jee Hee die then? Like she was shot and fell in the water but then she comes back but it kind…
Thanks for replying! I'm not into politics/war so this drama bores me a lot at times. I love the medical aspect of this though but I find it frustrating.
Does this drama have a lot of romance? The first episode shows that the ML likes a girl but I want to separate from romance a bit so I really don't want it to be centered around that genre...
not really. It's more like about people in the Beijing Opera world in its heyday. As PeachBlossomGoddess cleverly…
Thank you! I was hoping romance didn't overshadow the rest of the genres like in most dramas :) I want to take a break from that and explore other genres.
QUESTION: Please answer it :') I wrote the question under this one as a spoiler.
So wait, does Song Jee Hee die then? Like she was shot and fell in the water but then she comes back but it kind of looks like she doesn't have her memories or that she's not Jee Hee just someone who looks exactly like her. She says that Hun has to believe Jee Hee is alive and that sounds like she was talking about someone else? not her. Why would she refer to herself like Jee Hee instead of he needs to believe I'm alive? Also she doesn't show much emotion anymore, like she's a robot. I don't understand what's going on anymore. Can anyone plz explain?
