it doesn't present a more relevant theme at the end.

In most cases, I tend to watch Chinese dramas in one sitting. When I take time off, I prefer to binge-watch a series in one sitting. I prefer to watch all the episodes in sequence rather than follow daily or weekly releases.

I maintain this habit with the exception of Chinese dramas that are subject to speculation due to some external factor promoting masked marketing, even though they claim it's not a marketing strategy for viewers who are inattentive or attached to fanaticism to the level of idolatry for some entertainment professional.

Since I'm detached from idolatry, the different types of marketing strategies disguised in different forms, which can be called however the viewer wishes, don't fool me.

It's for this reason that I don't mind fanatics who hysterically play the troll card to viewers who assert their right to express their point of view on some production created for entertainment.

For these hysterics, the message is that life goes on, with or without their screams on the internet.

I watched the Chinese drama "Mei Ren Mou" in 2025, despite the mostly negative reviews.

I confess that I also agreed with some comments that associated the drama with a production lacking a sense of emotion and weak plot development.

In my opinion, the flaws in the plot development could have been overcome if the chemistry between the leads had been better presented to the viewers.

The directors and editors failed to adjust the shooting angle to eliminate the leads' apparent difficulty connecting with the characters and the story.

This flaw made watching this drama a somewhat tiring experience. However, although the plot failed to capture my attention from the beginning, I didn't abandon the drama because I didn't find it predictable. And I can certainly admit that this is one of the positive aspects of this drama, given the superficiality of the characters' feelings, which were explored by the director in a way that generates little interest in the main couple.

Overall, in my opinion, it's a time-consuming and unnecessary drama because it doesn't present a more relevant theme at the end.
