In the scene where Se Ri's Mom left the baby at the brewery. It looked to me like one of the boys appeared to have seen her when she peeked around the corner of the building. Was that Beom Su, or did I misread that scene?
Unfortunately, in SK the drinking culture is out of control and insane. So, K-drama writers are not drawing even the forced drinking by bosses and co-workers out of thin air.
aa. ofc i had a feeling its going to be "i can fix her" moment with jiseok and se young and eventually end up…
Se Young is yet another example of why I get so disappointed in the writing of K-dramas. Redeeming or attempting to manipulate viewers into feeling sympathy for characters that do terrible things for 99% of a drama sends a terrible message whether intended or not.
We are going into episode 96 out 103 and Se Young is still being a terrible person. She is or was attempting to evade any responsibility for her and her mothers criminal and abusive acts. She is not a character worthy of redemption or saving. If the writers wanted viewers to buy into this (at least international ones) then they should have started her atoning for her actions around episode 50.
I just watched episode 97 without subs…> I learned I know about 3 words in Korean if they’re spoken very slowly!***…
I, for one, cannot stand the weak mommy boy characters. I know they exist in real life, and that's bad enough. But, I don't understand why K-drama writers feature them so damn much.
