Yes, the force breakup trope is on the top of my list of hate right along with the dumb love triangle trope. I wish K-drama writers would take these both out of their boilerplate must haves. Angry. stuck in the past. your son/daughter is not good enough elders can go to.

They have kind of sidelined her. Angry Kang is not doing much but letting things playout right now.

The FL has allowed Angry Kang to manipulate and set traps for her that she walked right into. From giving her meaningless tasks to having Holly show up.

She has allowed the ML to manipulate her into accepting abuse from Angry Kang to sleeping with him, to stopping her from meeting DS. All this time the only one she has pushed away is the one that she clearly knows cares about her.

She has the mentality of an extremely naive teenage girl, Except she is in her 30s.

Her father is worthless, self-pitying and is mostly useless to the family in every aspect.

Her brother still is pretty much an immature teenager in an adult man's body. I feel sorry for his kids, his wife, and the people working at his so-called practice.

The ML has been manipulated by his grandmother but she has done it behind his back and at the very least he has called her out on it as he has found out what she had done so far.

His mother is one of the most spineless characters I have seen in a K-drama.

Well, DS has no one on his side, including the FL. She is going to marry the 2nd ML.

So, the ML is only in this to beg the FL to accept him which she seems hellbent on not doing.

At this point, if the writers want to make this somewhat interesting, they could have Angry Kang steal MG's ID, forge his signature on the marriage registration, and register her and MG's marriage. Then, they could have the naive FL marry MG.

I agree with you and I say this as someone who loves a story that flows well. This is the 2nd drama I watched recently where the writers seemed to have mucked up the development of romantic feelings of the FL from the 2nd ML to the ML. The other one is the weekend drama Iron Family.

I think they have done a worse job of it in this drama than Iron Family. In both cases, the writers had the FL show no real interest in the ML for too long and too strong an interest in the 2nd ML to make the transition seem believable and the interest seemed to come out of nowhere.

Maybe it would help if she stopped with the inner monologue and said out loud what she thinks and how she feels.

Someone earlier just had to bring up Jin Gu's hair and I was trying to ignore it from the beginning but now I can't see anything else when he is on the screen. Ahhhh.

So far, this drama is too tame. it seems to lack mystery and intrigue

But wow, MG is trying his best to set up a future abusive marriage, where he eventually starts blaming and hating GH for ruining his life. The guy does not love her and does not understand what being responsible means. Even Angry Kang deserves better than him. It's too bad GH's father is worthless to her, feeling sorry for himself, and can't be bothered to protect her or offer advice about what a bad idea is.

Marrying MG is a bad idea. I hope she can figure this out herself, stop feeling unworthy, and stop pushing away the one person who does care for her. Her pregnancy is not ideal, but that in no way means that she doesn't deserve positive things.

I guess this is why the writer gave her zero real female friends. The girl is in her 30's and doesn't know how works when a guy drunk off his butt invites you to spend the night at a hotel. I am sure her mom probably thought she didn't have to explain this part. My daughter can't be that stupid.

How will this work with the sister already knowing Ha Na is fake? All she has to do is tell Ha Na she is being deceived (she doesn't know why but she is) and urge her to get another DNA test to prove it. It cannot be hard to sew doubt in Ha Na's mind.

I thought earlier that she was finally growing a spine, but boy, was I wrong. I can't understand why in the world she thinks she has to endure this. "My son may hate me for leaving him." Well, you don't even have the guts to say anything to him. So you refuse to protect yourself and you refuse to protect him. Instead, you stand there shivering and waiting for another chance to kneel and beg someone who has no respect and no actual authority over you in the first place. This character shouldn't even exist at this point.

Well, I thought the MG and Angry Kang's so called romance was terrible too. They spent more time fighting with each other, her and his moms than anything close to an interesting couple to watch.

Stupid President was arrested.
