Well, we got a ways to go before Jang Mi consistently gets the upper hand.

Hwa Yeong is using every tool at her disposal without fear.

The writers have managed to make the FL an unlikable ditz when we should be rooting for her as a victim of fraud and theft.

I am still trying figure out why all these kids to include the dad are lying to their mother.

At this point, Eun Ae should stay in jail for her own safety.

Hong Ju and San Wol have been completely wasted in this drama. They could have been interesting side characters, causing problems for both sides. Instead, they have been powerless, not very smart, and just used as Hwa Yeong's slap dolls. Even if they caused problems that only lasted an episode or 2 it would have been better than them failing at every turn. It is so bad and predictable.

Hong Ju would have been better portrayed as a niece whom grandpa took in because her parents passed away. That would have given her a bit of power or standing whom Hwa Yeong couldn't just dismiss.

San Wol would have been better portrayed as a business owner in her own right. That would have given her some power and made it believable that she would be after the Dream Group for personal greed.

I don't like the death endings. I prefer they suffer in prison and die of cancer. Death means they never really suffer. They have to live for that.

It works for me with a driven reporter or social media site also that just keeps digging because things don't add up. These add just a little more beef to the storylines.

Min Ho can't take a hint.

One pet peeve of mine with these dramas is that law enforcement and prosecutors are almost always presented as incompetent or corrupt. This always eliminates them as an integral part of the story. Meaning there is almost no chance that the antagonist has to not only match wits with the protagonist, but also a driven police officer or prosecutor who just won't let things go.

Okay, she said the lawyer said she needs the contract, which she, for some reason, doesn't have. She should have consulted a lawyer in the first place, but she didn't. She should have kept that check as evidence and started a lawsuit against her business partner.

Now she has tried to get her own father into criminal legal trouble by asking him to steal a copy of the contract.

Also, it appears her sister is just as annoying as her.

I feel that people that act this way are cowards. They rationalize in their own minds that they are saving or protecting their love ones when in reality it's all about protecting and shielding themselves.

At the risk of sounding like I am blaming the victim. Everything that happens from now on is a result of Jang Mi and Baek Ho's failure to follow through. Their lack of any sense of urgency in ensuring that everything was exposed is their own damn fault.

San Wol finds the USB. Well, this isn't lipstick. Throws it in the trash, leaving the only hope that the maid finds it.

Yes, the plastic act is funny. But, I have to say Hwa Yeong is a master at gaslighting. I thought the professor was finally seeing through her BS, but the longer he let her talk and act all frail (she was an actress after all) in front of him, you could see the doubt seeping in.

The same played in the prison visitation scene with Jun Ho.

She can't tell Grandpa due to the number of episodes left. LOL>

Mother's Day is right around the corner.

The information she would be giving her grandfather is true and will eventually prove to be so. What grandpa does with it, or whether he believes everything at first, shouldn't matter to Jang Mi. She just needs to expose him to it and let things unfold from there.

Her characters always seem to start out the same way in every drama I have seen her in.

Everyone in Yeon Ja's family is lying to her about where they work or don't work.

With 40 episodes left it would nice to see some back and forth like a chess match.
