Hwa Yeong has had the upper hand for a long time now. No amount of threats stand a chance against her.

Telling her to put on the glasses made no sense, so there has to be a reason we don't know about yet for him to have her do something so stupid. Even having her stand there instead of leaving was dumb.

You are right to point out how it's not so simple as Jun Ho rejecting his birth mom at first and how complex all of this can get going forward. One thing I would add is that people like Hwa Yeong cannot help themselves. She will do something horrific again and there is a good chance Jun Ho will witness it.

It is taking the a long time to resolve this simple and weak storyline. They also managed to make everyone involved look pretty incompetent. From Chloe leaving her proprietary design book out in the open on her desk to Yu Na thinking it was a good idea to steal it in the first place.

I hate how Baek Ho and Jang Mi are written in the office scenes. Just like I am so over the eavesdropping scenes. Those scenes, to me, are too repetitive and not spaced out enough. It's alright if Baek Ho and Jang Mi slip up once, and many episodes go by before it happens again. But just like the eavesdropping scenes, it's happening every episode, and that dulls the impact and or suspense of those scenes. To me, they become predictable and a running joke or gag.

Leaving someone with mental disabilities completely alone in an open store is just insane.

I want to slap Baek Ho. He keeps creating these office situations where they can be caught and insisting that Jang Mi do the same. He then runs away and leaves her to deal with the damage caused by his actions.

That why I think they should clue Jun Ho in instead of letting Hwa Yeong set her the narrative.

Her character has kept information from her own family just because Hwa Yeong asked her to and she was unable to tell Baek Ho about the affair. We will see if she has changed and will disclose information even if it difficult.

45 Episodes left. Hwa Yeong still has to get away with everything for quite some more time. I know Jun Ho has claimed he will never forgive her, but I do think Hwa Yeong will gaslight Jun Ho with some victim hard life story and he will buy it. She is going to give it good try anyway.

I wouldn't put it past Jang Mi not to tell Baek Ho that she has learned who Jun Ho's mother is.

Man, seems like this entire drama from now on is going to be about the stolen design. I know that can't be true, but they have bogged this thing down with this storyline and don't seem to know how to get on with revenge.

It really is. Someone suggested earlier changing the title to "First Eavesdropper." They were right.

You would think they would have learn at some point that their doors are actually useless as forms of privacy. LOL

Tomorrow looks promising though.

Nothing but frustrating setbacks this episode, with Hwa Yeong winning with almost zero effort.

It happens in real life. Some people are so controlling, selfish and full of themselves they will use their kids to make their ex's life miserable. Meanwhile they do whatever they want to do.

I can't tell for sure yet, but it looks like Dong Suk's son is being or has been manipulated by his father into interfering in his mother's relationship. She needs to look into that so that the fool has no control over her life through their son.

It also looks to me like Seri has lied to the family by omitting the fact that she had a daughter she abandoned.

I seriously don't know how in the world this couple survives this without ending up in jail or dead.

I am just hoping the writers don't go in a direction where Jun Ho is blinded by his own pain, unwittingly hurts the twins, adds to their pain, and becomes a bad guy in their eyes. Then later, he finds out all the vile things his bio mom did to them. I just don't think his character deserves that arc.
