It's not clear yet, but Jun Ho is so obsessed with Jang Mi that he might be willing to work with his mother to get rid of Seo Rin, which, in his unstable state, he might be thinking that she is an obstacle to having Jang Mi.

In his state, he could also be tricked by his mom into thinking all he has to do is convince Seo Rin to get the surgery, not knowing she plans to kill her during it.

Absolutely, she would take what he says or any interest he shows in her to heart. She is head over heels for this dangerous guy. I know full well that Jang Mi would have a difficult time warning her sister about Jun Ho when Seo Rin is so into him, but she should be shown as trying.

We have watched drama after drama where a family member objects to perfectly normal couples being together for the dumbest and pettiest reasons. Here we have a case where a sister has clear evidence that a guy is unstable and dangerous to her sister and the writers have her act like a clueless and naive fool.

That scene where Jang Mi tries to convince Jun Ho to be with her sister and stop obsessing over her was just flat-out wrong. Jun Ho is a walking red flag, toxic as hell, and Jang Mi knows it. How can Jang Mi gloss over his past behavior like this and not warn her sister as best she can to stay away from him?

I don't trust him not to team up with his mother to harm Seo Rin.

LOL. I was just shaking my head. She can be anywhere at anytime and we are supposed to buy that's it's entirely normal.

It is so frustrating that Tae Pyeong and Jang Mi never believe Suk Hui when she tells them something is wrong, even though they have been around her with her mental condition all these years. They clearly should know by now that she doesn't lie, but can't express herself in a normal manner. By now, they should have other tools or ways to communicate with her properly. Instead, they disregard what she says and waste time gaslighting her, only to find out later she was telling them the truth.

When will Team Jang Mi get in the game here? They have been getting all sorts of clues that Hwa Yeong is up to something.

Good point. Adopted son means the DNA connection with grandpa has to come from the mother.

We are going to get more of those extended scenes since they have to fill up the episodes. Guess we have to grin and bear it.

Jun Ho and Baek Ho's fights are frustrating to me because it's sad to see the writers have taken Jun Ho's character down this particular road. He actually overcame a lot and made something of himself, only for it all to be thrown away over an obsessive trait that he really did not have before. He was cold yet competent at the beginning of the drama.

It would be nice if they changed it up. But the way the Korean entertainment market works, it's difficult for writers to deviate from the standard blueprint for these dramas.

Personally, I have started to prefer k-dramas where the main focus isn't romance, but maybe crime, thrillers, horror, or fantasy. Just a hint of romance is enough for me.

OMG. I have not liked the Dr. Han character since the start of this drama. She is toxic to her husband as well as to her kids. With her counseling training, you would think she would be a bit more understanding of her spouse and kids, but she isn't.

The breakup is for the sake of the families. Apparently, their breakup will make everything great, and the families will erupt in joy and happiness.

Yes, it will be a happy ending. The breakups are k-drama 101. They used to bother me because the reason for the breakups rarely made any sense, solved any problem, including the one given for the breakup, and only made the couple miserable. Now I don't even care because they are so normal you can predict the episode they will happen in.

I don't think they really needed to take his character as far as they have. But since they have, I really wish they wouldn't treat his behavior as the type of behavior that other characters involved should gloss over or treat lightly.

I know this is a drama, but you never know what message viewers will take away, even though it's fiction. Jun Ho's behavior is problematic in such a way that he is downright dangerous. To depict Jang Mi and Baek Ho not taking any proactive action against him due to his conduct and threats sends a terrible message even in a fictionalized account.

There is a recent story out of South Korea where a male who was obsessing over a female who rejected him, and because he couldn't get to her, ended up killing an unrelated 17-year-old female and injuring another 17-year-old male who came to her rescue. There is more to the story, but this was just the short version. The police handling of the incident was also a huge problem.

About the necklace. Seo Rin has been with Hwa Yeong all her life, and in 30 years, she has never seen Hwa Yeong with that necklace. Impossible. Daughters always go through their mother's jewelry. It makes sense that Grandpa would have it saved away.

Since she stole a child from Suk Hee she had to cause some type of harm to her in the first place.

Hwa Yeong happens to be everywhere at any time to over hear critical information. She keeps showing up at the side dish shop, yet no one has an actual clue she might be up to something.
