bahahah! after someone made a comment about his west VA tie, it’s the only thing I can see in all his scenes now. Also Ran Xiwei was wearing same black dress in very beginning of series when she’s in Paris that she wears to the masquerade ball. It is just funny..i still enjoy this series so much and it has a high rewatch value for me.

In ep 21, Did anyone else notice that he has to get on a flight to get to where she’s studying but he is able to have his exact Mercedes G Wagon while there?

the tropes are endless in this but i love the leads so much!

based on trailers, there won’t be any breakup. they will have some hurdles with mother in law and also the alex storyline comes full circle because ran xiwei finds their contract, but looks like there’s sweet scenes in every upcoming episode

the novel is so different than drama. I hope drama ends with kids though!

I think it’s just going to be that mom doesn’t think xixi is good enough for him. at beginning of series, there’s a flashback scene with mom telling him that emotion isn’t good for being the best.

Per trailers, it will
definitely resolve quickly. It looks like mom is only in an episode or two.

lol - this drama is just fluffy feel good eye candy. like someone mentioned before, the editing is quite choppy. They go on a date and then next scene, she has a cold. All of the SML and SFL is just filler until they get more storyline with mother coming back and then wrapping up Alex storyline.

I can’t stop seeing this tie now..bahahahah! And ML also fits a suit much better than SML. AvenueX, a youtube commentator, made this comment that ML has the body and posture for this role and I agree with her completely.

any guesses/predictions there will be kids at the end of the series? i’m a sucker for cute family at end.

chinese government crack down- said it was unfair to consumers to pay for subscription and then need to pay more for fast track. It’s sooo slow getting new episodes this way.

my favorite! so easy and carefree to watch attractive people do contract marriage and then fall in love and then have a breakup and then get back together.

thanks for this spoiler - i am not a fan of the miscarriage storylines so i will probably wait to see how it ends before actually starting it
