That was one of the most intense last episodes of a drama Iâve ever seen!!! what a wonderful drama, sure not perfect but the acting of all the cast and also great work of scriptwriters in delivering the meaning behind this story really made this drama worthy and a memorable drama.
Ep 32: Omg someone come and calm my heart cause did you see how he kowtow in front of his father in law? The amount of respect he has and that in front of all those refugees coming from a land he just defeated not long ago⊠heâs so humble and the way father felt guilty accepting it, only if he was the city lord⊠Then their intimate scene in her homeland, that held more meaning that what it showed, he came a long way in trusting her, I remember in one scene she said if you canât trust me then when we share a bed will you be afraid I have a dagger in hand but now they did it in a place where he was with no one no backup but her, then father kowtow and showing remorse was so touching, and ofc the memorial ceremony and finally getting accepted formally. This ep was so healing for them and even for us as viewers. I really wanna thank the scriptwriters and cast and crew for such a deep and meaningful episode.
Im just watching ep30.I was crying during the exchange b/w XQ and her cousin. I can see both of their sides. And…
That guard needs to get more attention back in Panyi when girly burned the storage and he came to shoot her as soon as Wei Shao told him about what she did for them he saved her the next scene by hitting the arrow nearly hitting her.
Wow ep 30 was so beautifully emotional and heavy, from sudden argue of fl and ml to them fighting in their own battles with the same purpose, the conversation of cousins (loved how they wrote this part, you could easily understand both side and what they want for their lives and whatâs their differences) I was on the edge of my seat being worried just like them.
Aside from loving tonightâs kiss scene (which I think we all enjoyed đđ), i also really loved the scene…
Honestly the grandma and advisor are such MVPs, each time any of these people act childish or is simply lost they come forward and help them and they do it with such wisdom and care. Cause letâs be honest theyâre still so young to figure out everything on their own.
My heart bleeds for them and I really wished I love this drama less but I canâtâŠdespite the tragic last eps, this drama really made me fall for all the cast all over again and wish they come together for other (pls happier) projects. The chemistry and acting of the cast really amazed me from the beginning to the end.
The only thing about this drama that I remember is how much the doctor was lovable and how I liked the actor, Yunlong new drama made me think where else Iâve seen him so I came to remember this, wish to see him more.
The acting and visuals (both scenes and cast) really amazed me more than I thought and I already knew Iâm there for a feast, their costumes and makeup really suits them all and none is s to a extreme or âway too unique and weirdâ way, itâs all in details and I love that. The plot could be better specially considering what I heard about the ending but for now I love how all the stories and characters unfold one by one and we get a chance to enjoy all of them having a moment to themselves. I really love the chemistry of all cp and friends or even siblings specially wangquan siblings, I didn't think I would like some of these cp and duos but turns out I really adore them all.
Is it light hearted compared to others xianxia drama? I tend to find the heavy and complicated. Oh is it a happy…
Yeah compared to most xianxia ones this one is so lighthearted doesnât have a complicated plot and yep itâs happy ending (but some said they could show more of what happened at last which I agree cause some were saying itâs open ending but when I saw it well I could tell what will happen)
I really loved different story/back story of different realms and how at first all of them were scary and weird but had emotional and deep reasons behind it, the set design and outfits were so good (the way Jiushi changed style, how they wore opposite colors: one wearing white on top and black over it and the other reverse this) the acting of all of them would really make you laugh and cry with them, specially the last episodes. This one is surely is memorable.
For me this one is one of the most memorable drama ever, so touching⊠for some reason (one the plot being based on a true story) it was without any normal sugar coating of kdramas.
The amount of adaptations is crazy (shows how amazing she is) but the amount of unreleased content related to this author is even crazier⊠what high quality, good plot dramas we could haveâŠ
I give it all to the acting and aesthetics of this movie, I really loved them together, these two have such a touching way of acting that you canât dislike their works, the story could be much stronger but still had some good scenes (phone call and hallway and the last scene was really their vibe)
This one is female centered to the core and for that we like it but honestly idk if itâs the fault of directing, script writers or acting but this drama could be much more enjoyable and thrilling with better storytelling (specifically the first half of the drama although building up the story matters but it felt like everything started after we watched half of the show) or better portrayal of characters (mostly male actors), if you wanna make women shine you donât have to ignore or downgrade male characters like that, this drama is filled with potential have great costume and set designs with good plot but the details fell short and kinda made it less interesting at some points. After skip-watching some parts I still say itâs a good drama if you can close your eyes on its shortcomings.
