Probably the best thing about this drama is diversity, though the sisters have some similar traits and the whole arc is the husbands falling head over heal for the wives but the details and the Sisters different characteristics give audience the liberty to see them all yet relate with some, love some and dislike some of the plot, isn’t that like real life? Each person has their own life, their own taste in partner and etc and we might prefer one above the other and that’s not a plothole that’s actually interesting, it shows how similar yet different people can be.
Ofc the whole story could be stronger but I take this as it is and watch it cause of how lighthearted and enjoyable it is.

Honestly me too, I skip their parts and sometimes the parts of northern king, they really annoy me, but I love the main characters and YES this new love looks so adorable🥺

I can’t say this drama is perfect but it sure keeps you looking for the next episode, some characters or their decisions might look so idiot but the overall plot and characterizing of them all is quite interesting, they did a good job with styling and giving different vibes to the sets of two different lands which sets up the right vibe.

I really wish this one live up to the expectations from the start to the end, I haven’t watched a good modern time drama in a long time…

Well I can say his situation gets better and he will enjoy some happy and chill times but if you consider the overall storyline you can’t say he’s lucky to have a good life, man is always suffering from one thing or another. At least he’s such a true to himself and on the right track guy from the beginning to the end.

I agree with you, if they worked on some aspects that you mentioned specifically in the beginning and the last few episodes this drama would be soooo much better but well…
Unfortunately they made some poor (perhaps production) decisions.

I agree, the these bold and bright colors get rarely used in dramas cause it might be hard to style and deal with but they managed to make them look cool! The sets and clothings were beautifully detailed.

Exactly!!! communication is key and make the drama much more interesting !? Idk why some writers and directors still use some cliche unnecessary toxic stories between characters, it’s so annoying.

Honestly they’re the healthiest cp of xianxia history and one of the best overall, we were worried about misunderstandings and those “killing your partner for the sake of greater purpose” but even that seems to be from their past life… with such plot and great visuals and chemistry (not to forget beautiful designs and ost) honestly it’s so easy to fall for them. We still have 9 more eps but I’m already missing them.

So far I really loved this series and s2 was so good that I didn’t have that much problem with the change of actor for jerry . It’s so good to see they’re making realistic and educational dramas which is much more than just a boys love story without actually cutting the sweet and fun parts. It’s so hard to make a drama that shows the bittersweet moments of people’s lives in simple ways.
