That was really great. I'm probably biased, but I liked it more than the original. It also was another reminder that Billkin one of if not the best Thai actor in his age group. He is excellent in every single role he takes.
I don't think the movie was perfect, but I highly recommend it to anyone who likes PPBK or anyone who liked the original.
Perhaps they should go to GMMTV? I I will give their series a try. It is such a shame they ahve not had a good…
Actors can't just pick whatever company they want to join. They have contracts. When a contract ends, there is no guarantee that a company on the level of GMMTV would want to add them to their roster. Enjoy the series.
We were robbed of Just Say Yes which I was REALLY looking forward to. Agreed Chalarm seems to be a scene stealer…
Yes we were. Don't Say Know was only watchable because of SmartJames. But I guess in hindsight, James is probably better off that Just Say Yes didn't happen. He seems happy and in a healthy relationship and hopefully this show is successful.
We've waited soooooo long for this to finally air and now it's here and better than I could have ever imagined. I know some people don't like omegaverse and there are legit reasons to have issues with it, but China is back and the scripts are exactly what fujoshis and fudanshis have been missing for YEARS.
I hope other countries are taking notice, because the time for coasting with basic scripts and bad actors is pretty much over and I couldn't be happier. Hua Yong might become my favorite character of all time once he shows his true colors to Sheng. I can't wait for the next episode!!!!!!!
Each week I like this series more and more. I have second couple syndrome, but Inn and Great are also doing a fine job. I'm happy Rati finally stopped being mad, his reasoning never resonated with me, but I'm glad they are moving past it.
I know why the uncle is there being terrible in every scene he's in, but I'm really getting sick of him and wish he'd disappear. Jam is still my favorite, she's adorable and hilarious 🥰
I finished it but I don't know why I watched it. I'm sure the people involved worked hard, but overall it feels like I wasted my time. There was enough story for about an hour long short film, but they stretched everything out to fill time. I've seen worse, but everything was so predictable and forced that the only thing that kept me going was 2x speed.
I don't have high expectations for Doctor's Mine, but I'll give that a chance too.
I forced myself to sit through the pilot because I like MosBank and I want them to have a decent series. But Starhunter isn't willing/capable of making something decent. IMO they never have no matter who the leads were and this seems like more of the same. I'll be skipping this series.
At first, I was excited about this because James stole my heart in Don't Say No. But after watching the pilot, I'm most excited about Chalarm. He gives off such strong leading man energy, that I fully expect him to wow us in the series. Knowing that their a long term couple irl is just the icing on the cake. I can't wait for this one.
I put this on hold after 2 episodes, but continued to check the comments to see if it was worth picking back up. Now that it's over, I'm glad I didn't watch it.
I can accept sad endings. Anything that isn't Gray Rainbow or Egoist seems tame by comparison, but wow the writing choices here are mind boggling. Two actors with BL experience wrote this (and starred in it) and I can't help but wonder what they were thinking. It's hard to understand who this was made for and why, but it got made even though so many fantastic pilots never do 😮💨 oh well.
I love that Taiwan creates so many series with unique premises that you don't see anywhere else. I love that most of their BLs have talented experienced actors who can convincingly portray the characters. I know that some of the best BLs of all time are Taiwanese BLs.
I like the idea of this show and the grandpa. But the grandson and other lead are both pretty unlikeable. Now that the show is gonna focus on the grandfather falling in love with the grandson's crush while in his body, I'd be lying if I said I was invested in anything. But I do hope the grandson isn't dead dead.
The grandmom and her behavior fits the era, but those plotlines bore me, so I will just skip her as much as possible.
I feel the same way. The plotline fits, but overly controlling/domineering parents/grandparents have been used in HUNDREDS of BLs and I'm not interested in watching her sabotage them episode after episode.
I liked the first episode, but I liked the second episode even more. Both couples' storylines are interesting and even though I know I'm going to hate the grandmother, the forced marriage plotline fits the era. I'm looking forward to the next episode.
That was highly entertaining 👀🫦. I really wish it was longer, but the 4 episodes were great. This is the first time I've actually enjoyed a Chinese BL in years!
I'm not sure why I'm watching this, but it's not the worst thing I've seen. It's also the latest example of why endless sex scenes DOES NOT equal a good/entertaining series. I'll finish it, but I cant think of anything positive to say about the story or production 🤷♀️
