I love the scene where Eunjo and Yeol arguing about the kids' education choices like a mom and a dad. This make me want a happy ending for them even more, married and have their own child. I will give this drama a 10 if it comes true!
Dear fellow viewers, I wanted to also take a moment to acknowledge our amazing friend & bodyguard Dae Chu.…
Me! I made a comment kinda shipping Haerim and Daechu 2 weeks ago even by that time they barely interacted. I just feel their personalities are more compatible with each other than she had with SML. After ep 11 I ship them even more. Bonding over their "knowledge" would be fun I think. haha
Out of currently airing dramas I'm watching, To My Beloved Thief is the most I like. -Eunjo and Yeol are so good together and individually. I wish I have someone who treats me like how Yeol treats Eunjo! The only ending I will accept is their happy marriage, bonus if they have kids (reference ep 8). -The comedy is actually funny without being over the top. That simple poke "Eunjo" did to make "Yeol" straighten his body is always make me laugh. -The mystery/fantasy part is interesting. Who is that nun? is there connection with the child monk? -The palace politics scene is minimal. I hate politics wherever. -Good and fun side kick. Daechu is so funny. -No annoying second female lead. Haerim is a nice girl. At first I thought she will be paired with Jaeyi but now I want her to find someone else, hmm maybe Daechu? haha. Praying she stays good. -No annoying parents of the main leads. -Most important, everyone's acting are good. The body swap is believable. The good ones I like them and the bads I dislike. Hope this drama end well.
Usually when I see such a blantant PPL in a drama I just roll my eyes, but in ep 14 I laughed so hard at that Kopiko and Seaweed PPL effectively annoyed the villains. I also enjoyed so much the two faced "relationship" between Dogi and Goeun.
As I said above, I think AYHT is more about impostor (someone else pretending to be you, in different body) than possession (someone else inhabiting your body but your soul be either trapped inside or wandering outside). So the sentiment in my original comment wasn't applied here. My sentiment about impostor is similar with identity swap and body swap, and yes here romance often plays big factor, haha.
I have, but that's more about impostor than possession even though the implication kinda similar. Anyway, I like Robot Shin more than Human Shin but I didn't want Robot Shin live in place of Human Shin. I hoped the Human get his place back and become a better person while the Robot can live peacefully with the FL.
i'm curious abt this whole thing too.. either they'll follow Alchemy of Soul's steps or otherwise.
By last few episodes of AoS 1, I found my self more interested in Buyeon than Naksu so I had hoped that in AoS 2 somehow Buyeon would get Naksu out of her body and reclaim her place while Naksu transfer to another body and do whatever she want. But nope, they completely erased the real Buyeon. That makes me don't want to watch season 2.
It looks like the actual ML is the imoogi trapped in YunGab's body, not his real self. If that's the case, I hope the drama makers will make him dead for good soon or turn him into a very bad guy. Otherwise, I will always feel bad for him. In dramas about possession, I often root more for the real body owner than the one who take it over. Imagine you lose control over your own body, don't know what this stranger is going to do with your body, ugh it's horrific! So I want them to take it back.
Finally finished Namib after putting in on hold. It was darker and heavier than what I expected so it was a bit hard to contiue watching when Γt's aired. Now that I had adjusted my expectation, It was more enjoyable to watch.
You're overlooking the Chairwoman's statements at the end of the episode. She was pissed that Yu Jeong got first.…
Yeah, I too think not all grades are rigged. Yujeong got 1st on regular school exams, but it seems the rigged ones are grade for special competitions like the one she told Haeseong in the library.
It's strange that his assistant is not surprised that Hui Jo had this phone, does he already know that she is…
Saeon could have told Dojae that the culprit actually tried to harm him but culprit made mistake, pushed Hongjoo instead of him and the phone accidentally fell from culprit's hand.
I'm curious why this drama has low ratings on AsianWiki. They're missing the excellence of the drama. I got addicted…
Maybe some people who don't like it keep rating it with very low scores. Apparently on Asianwiki we can vote a show multiple times so it's easier to rig the rating there.
I read that he trained hard for this role so I think itβs his voice.
Really? It's good if that's the case. I just felt the voice of Yoo Jinwoo singing at the park was very different from Ryeoun's singing voices I've heard before. I hope you're right.
Iβm not sure. But maybe for this role they needed the character to be really good at singing, and Ryeoun just…
Yeah, his character is supposed to be a prodigy and I agree his singing skill isn't yet on professional level. But I thought the director would just do "fine tuning" to his singing voice with editing instead of use another voice altogether. I guess it's easier to do the latter.
So far it's okay. But, it seems Yoo Jinwoo's singing voice isn't Ryeoun's voice π€ Anyone thinks so? I hoped to hear his singing again after Twinkling Watermelon π

KBS, why did you cut these precious scenes out from the broadcasted episodes? π‘

Hope his character is healthy (physically and mentally) and not dying this time!
