Business Proposal, Ahn Hyoseop played the CEO character and the employee is played by Kim Sejeong. If you haven't watched it and like romcom, please check it out. IMO It's funnier and better written than Sold Out on You. Plus point it doesn't have a love triangle and have 2 couples to root for.
Out of hundreds kdramas I've watched, this drama takes a win for the most blantant and detailed reference to another drama, from the premise to the actor to the episode count and completed with the OST. I thought that's the funniest scene of this drama until the 'gat' (Korean traditional hat) came. π€£π€£π€£ Oh, it also wins for not having Kopiko PPL, instead, it had Caffio π ETA: Maechuri's comment to the drama is reference to Kang Taemoo's tag line.
Aside from hilarious and wholesome moments, my favorite part is Yirang's family, they are very supportive. The parents (of ML and FL) respect their children opinion. I like it when Nahyun's father asked her about Dogyeong's invitation and immediately rejected it when she told him to. In other dramas, usually the father just accept it and put the daughter in an uncomfortable situation. Yirang's mother is one of the best kdrama moms I've ever seen, maybe the best actually!
That broom sword and the epilogue ππ€£π€£π€£ Out of 2026 dramas Iβve watched so far, Phantom Lawyer is the one that induce my laughter and tears the most, one of my favorite dramas this year. Oh, I just realized that there are only 3 16-episode dramas so far and Choi Wonyoung appeared in all of them. Edit: If you want to see him more but as a completely opposite of character here, check out To My Beloved Thief, another favorite of mine.
I saw that some people are bothered by the fact that the ghosts in later half of the drama aren't floating when they still don't have memories unlike the ghost in the first half. So gave it some thoughts and I feel like I find the excuse, at least for my self, ha. The gangster, Idol girl and scientist died several months before they appeared in front of Yirang, whereas Nahyun's sister, the shoemaker, thunder boy and his father died more than a year ago. I conclude that the floating ghosts are relatively new ghosts. I don't know if it really is what's the writer intended or just coincidence, maybe if they ever make a second season then we can confirm it.
It seems Yoo Yeonseok sing the OST featured in ep 13 and 14. I don't mishear it, right? It always amazes me every time I get reminded that most Korean actors and actresses are multitalented and willing to learn new things for their roles. Another thing that amazes me is their child actors and actresses. They are good and sometimes can out act the adults. I hope they choose to act because they want it and are happy while doing it.
Is this ML really her endgame in the webtoon? I don't like watching a sinking ship. I watched the first season blindly, didn't know anything about the webtoon but got spoiled towards the end that their relationship wasn't last long in the webtoon, though i kept watching while hoping the drama would not take that way. I was wrong. So I avoided the 2nd season because I already know that ship was doomed too.
If SBS doesn't give Yoo Yeonseok an award for his performance in this drama, I would be really mad! His possessed acting is believable and so fun to watch. I dare to say that he deserves a Daesang! No wonder that he is appointed as a lecturer at his almamater, Sejong University.
Congrats to Phantom Lawyer for reaching 10% rating on episode 6. It might not have the best logic, but for me out of 2026 dramas so far it got the best laugh from me. My top funny moments are the Love Dive dance, the Detective Conan voice changing bow tie, and the recording pen "prank".
Like others, I also wondered how Irang could get money from his ghost clients. I choose to believe that from Lee Gangpung's case he got paid by his wife, remember there is money talk when Irang exposed her previous shitty lawyer, assuming she did get the compensation then she had to pay him because he was her legal representative. I think Sua's case more on pro bono side. For Jeon Sangho's case, If his wife and father in-law are decent people, they should pay Irang at least for the mother in-law's illness cure! especially the wife, she know what he's gone through and they are rich.
I think it actually makes sense that Irang didn't really go to courtroom to do his lawyer job, all the cases are criminal cases (the first one started as civil case but later turned into criminal case) and he represented the victims, not the defendants. The one who should prove the defendant's crime in court is prosecutor not him, the most he can do is standing as witness. So why don't make him an investigator instead of lawyer? If he isn't a lawyer, he wouldn't be able to represent Gangpung's wife to sue the doctor and had to find another lawyer who believe them and we know how hard it is.
Ha, they threw in references to 3 dramas in single episode. Dr. Romantic and Hospital Playlist when Irang and the ghost talked about the EMR. Also Taxi Driver with that Kang Hana prosecutor badge.
It ended the way I expected. I am happy that Geumbo get another undercover mission and Albert is back to do something he always love. But the romance lover me feel a bit sad that it seems Al is ready to let his crush go and move on even though I know it would be felt forced if they do end up together. Anyway, regardless of that it's still a good drama for me.
Oh, Please remove the "Romance" tag so the future watchers won't be feeling deceived, expecting more romance subplot but getting almost zero.
Never thought I would cry for a killer of 17 lifes, but his life after the accident was so sad. Ryeoun's acting was really good here, have been liking him since 18 Again. Hope to see him in something lighter soon.
I am giving this a 10. A unique story portrayed beautifully by all the actors esp the FL and ML. Perhaps part…
Yeah we can have part two where in the next life Hong Eunjo will steal slush money from evil company boss to save the company employees like she did it to save the nobles' slaves. Wait, there is another Hong doing that right now!
Out of 4 MLxFL body swap kdramas I've watched, I think To My Beloved Thief has the the best explanation and logic behind it. I love the execution of it too here, no over the top acting but still funny. It officially gets on my favourite list.
Oh, I never thought they would adress the wish lantern like that. This drama keeps wowed me till the end. π€―β€
I can see why.. I checked just the last clip - it shows SUPER sexism as mom does not let the daughter eat, all…
I don't see it like that. In the first part the mom said that Eunjo had the chicken before so she just thougth that the guest could have it this time plus she could just make one for her daughter another time. But the problem is in that moment their bodies were swapped, so that "Eunjoβ never had it. It also mean the man actually let the woman eat, Yeol in Eunjo's body told her in his body to eat. The one that made human look like trash is in ep 10 deleted scene that I feel it's okay to be left out.

This drama makes me looked crazy.

It has TWO happy endings!
