The fact that people here have no complaints about the toxic character traits of Ko Han Su, and some are even…
to me the depiction in the book and series are completely different. If it was spot on to the book then for sure he should be hated. But this is Hollywood and that is Lee Min Ho, they are not going to portray him as a straight dirtbag without any redemptive qualities. This is what happens in adaptations.
Having read the book long before it was made into a TV series, I was very much surprised when Lee Min Ho took…
I'm not a fan in the slightest and have only watched parts of Boys over Flowers and the Heirs for the other cast. But I have no problem admitting he is easily the highlight of this show. Every scene he is in he has a presence.
The Solomon/buying land off ajuhma scenes I just can't get into and frankly the stakes just aren't high enough for me. I wish the focus was on older Sunja in the 80's scenes and not him.
Well also lil Mozasu and the kid actor that plays Noa are flexing for sure as well.
Going through it now and it's interesting but sloppy. You can tell how they filmed things out of order and didn't really follow up with some plot threads. I will finish it and give a review.
maybe I missed it because I wasn't paying full attention. But how did the FL not know that the ML and her supposed best friend Junyoung were brother and sister? After knowing him as a child and also because both excelled at badminton. Was that ever addressed? I'm struggling to finish it now.
8 and 9 arrived at the perfect time. TBH the high school scenes were getting a little boring for me and it was about time for ZIS to make his appearance.
Hopefully they can nail the mid and late episodes because as of now this is a game changing series. Could possibly be my #1 old all time. They threw in a kdrama Roma ace done with A-listers in a superhero series! And don't forget we still have plenty of episodes where the other talented cast can shine!

Ah to see these youngsters make the same mistakes I and we all prolly did because of insecurity, not appreciating what is in front of us, etc. but even so they are incredibly mature for their age, you don't see that in American reality tv.
I can't even fathom trying to criticize any of their actions like I've seen on some forums because I would be the ultimate hypocrite and feel like it would be too close to online bullying which is the last thing anyone needs.
One thing I don't get is how come Seo Young isn't being fought over. She is the actual visual on Netflix but has been totally overshadowed. Come on guys! Wake up!
My dude SY, you are very mature and I get that you wanted to date around and meet everyone. I would have done the same. But you are going to regret letting Yerin go, she is one of a kind and it pains me to see you make the same type of mistake. It's not so bad to give a girl a compliment here and there, I wish I could've learned that sooner 😢.
Really liking it so far, just binged the first 7. It did get slow in some parts.
Although I like his character, this show will be better when it focuses on others beside Bongseok, namely ZIS's presence. The dynamic between him and the other parents and especially HHJ will be amazing to watch. It's crazy the high level of actors they got here, even in smaller roles. I love the guy from Gaus Electronics in the first episode 😂
It was Jang Soo from part one. The one who was the main Bully. who Sok Bong wanted to take revenge and kidnapped.…
You know my take was totally different in that scene. To me it showed how the military institution can bring out your basest desires.
Once Shin Seung Ho leaves the military he turns into a regular college kid who has fun and flirts with girls. Seeing Jun Ho reminds him of that past life that he has put in the rearview. Jun Ho sees him as a well-adjusted kid who's living his best life while he's still has a long way to go before his discharge.
Very good quality, the actors are great, everything is super but I dropped. There's a dark, boring side to it…
I can totally understand your perspective. There are definitely parts that are filler, the Hollywood influence. But there are also some truly powerful moments that would be a shame to miss.
I wish they would have found someone who looked like Lee Min Ho and had the ability to act. The few dramas I've…
I'm not even close to being an LMH fan, but I'd have to vehemently disagree. He plays the role of Hansu perfectly. He brought the character to life from the book. Isak is also doing very well.

Also, SukBong is alive. They show him in a hospital bed during the season and also post-credits.
