Keep going on! I skipped the Xie Xiao scenes mostly, but there will be some scene with him, where Lu Yi is making fun of him, that's hilarious. :D I think it's somewhere in ep27-29? Maybe. These are a few episodes with "more Lu Yi"s which are very fun, I think it's one of the highlights of the whole show XD Apart fromt this, of course there are more draggy scenes, some with melodrama even (Yue & Xi...), if you are bored, just skip them. But overall, the scenes with the leads are good, worth watching. :)

As for me, I'm currently translating the subs into Hungarian, so I'm rewatching every episode like 10-15 times scene by scene (OK maybe I'm a little bit of perfectionist :'D) So I have the opportunity of examine every little bits: gestures & stuff, and I have to tell, I'm amazed by all the tiny signs so far (finished translating ep07 yesterday.) I'm so glad I decided to translate this drama after I've seen all of it.
So, in my opinion, Lu Yi isn't interested in a romantic way yet (at ep07), but very much interested in a professional way. He's aware of her abilities, and he suspected them even in the 1st episode. So he sees the potential in her professionally, that's for sure. But I wouldn't say he developed any other feelings for her so far except some amount of respect (which he wouldn't show of course, no way, he's too much of a tsundere guy :D). He just doesn't know her enough for having other feelings for her. And he sees that she's clearly childish at times and still has to mature a lot. But because of her talents, he's willingly helping her to mature so she could be a fully capable constable/investigator. I could say he's intrigued by her, but not in a romantic way. But along the road, as he's getting to know her better, spending time with her, he begins to develop feelings for her, bonding with her.
As for Jinxia, she's at one hand impressed with him from the beginning because he's a Jinyi Wei, capable, smart etc., but at the same time she's terrified of him, that's obvious in more scenes. He can be ruthless, and she apparently feels that if she would really mess up things, she would be the target of his wrath, and she doesn't want that since she has excellent surviving skills :D But, since she's a very-very impulsive young lady, can't really control herself, and that's what makes her bold enough to pestering and annoy him, which is fun to watch as he gets irritated but we know he won't do anything to her - he might be a ruthless Jinyi Wei but he's still a gentleman who wouldn't hurt women, AND as we know, he even sees professional potential in her. Anyway, she really finds him intimidating, I think. But again, while spending time with him she begins to find him more and more intriguing. I think she did find him somewhat intriguing from the very beginning, in fact...
So they fell in love slowly, step by step in the show. I love this slow paced romance where the leads become interested in each other as a PERSON, moreover, in this case, in each other's smartness! :) And not because they are attracted physically. OK, they are, I know, they have really great chemistry from the first second they met, but I got the impression that they are not aware of this, because they have tons of other things to deal with: their past, their angst, their work etc. So at first, I think they became interested professionally, they developed respect towards each other, and because of this they became genuinely intrigued by each other, AND because they have great chemistry, it's inevitable for them to fall in love along the road.
So their journey towards each other is not rushed, but is represented in a really realistic and logical way. I like that. :) But again... this is just how I see things, while I get to know the story and characters in deep because I have to rewatch every single scene many times in order to get a decent Hungarian sub for the drama.
Oh, and thanks for your comments guys, at least now I can see clearly, who else is obsessed with this show & their relationship like me, I'm kinda relieved I'm not the only one! XD
Don't be so harsh to the cousin... Basically, thanks to her manipulations, we got the sole kiss of the show! :'D
I don't really mind it, to be honest. :) I think their chemistry is so very strong... so their hugs and smaller gestures ,etc. are making up for it pretty well. But that's just my opinion.
He is very good in Kore wa Keihi de Ochimasen. Haven't seen him before, but some of his dramas seems interesting, I'll check them out; and of course keep an eye on him in the future.
I really don't understand the ratings ' decrease. It's a pretty decent show, so why? It's still much better and more fun (and less boring...) than some overhyped korean romcoms with 9+ ratings. I give up, I'll never understand people. Maybe I'm an alien or something. :'D
